Netro and Google home

Updated at 2020-09-08 08:26:17

HI

I have netro with 3 sensors. I do have google home at home and I would like to connect. I following the instructions BELOW, with no success, because i cant find the buttom LINK to be redirected to accouunt login page

Could you please help

Please use your google assistant app to find "Netro Sprite", either by directly typing "talk to Netro Sprite" or searching through the google assistant explorer. Then tap the "link" button, and you will be redirected to the account login page. After using your Netro account to be successfully linked, you will be able to use google home to work with Netro. You can talk to your Google home like: "Hey google, ask Netro Sprite to water zone two for 5 minutes." or "Hey google, ask Netro Sprite to stop watering." The Netro Sprite should start/stop watering accordingly.

Sensor watering adjustment doesn't work - bug

Roman Stanek
Updated at 2020-09-04 04:49:34

I installed two sensors today and added watering adjustment so that every time the humidity goes below 10% another 10 minutes of watering is added. Unfortunately, there is a bug and the watering time is triggered right away even though the faucet timer connects only every three hours. The additional watering time needs to be scheduled after the next timer sync and not right away. It's a clear bug.

Thanks

Question about smart watering durations

sw238
Updated at 2020-07-05 15:42:38

Hey, I'm a techie and I have a question about your "smart watering". What is the feedback loop that you use?

My zones are vastly different -- some have very small spray heads, and some have very large rotors that pump out a lot of water. At first glance, I cannot see any way to (a) indicate how much water is delivered per zone or (b) indicate how moist the soil actually is.

Assuming that I have not missed anything, I have a few suggestions:

  1. Provide a mechanism for indicating the water deliver rate for each zone
  2. Provide a mechanism for manually imputing the actual, measured moisture of the soil
  3. Provide a "hint" mechanism for each gone (e.g. "This zone is too dry" / "this zone is too wet") which would in tyrn influence the smart watering.

No issues for a long time (2 years). Ran already today, now will not manually turn on. Reset once and re installed unit once. Is there an outage?

Pixie: Shut off valve too weak?

JanT
Updated at 2020-07-08 18:44:04

i installed the Pixie last Monday, Tuesday it worked fine for the programmed 10 min sprinklers, but this morning it marked as finished but kept on watering. I tried the manual shut off and on and discovered i had to reduce the water pressure for it to work. At full pressure i hear the noise that the valve is trying to close, but it fails. The light goes to green and the water keeps running...

For now i am adressing it by reducing the water flow, but is this normal? I just have regular city water, nothing special, no special pressure...?
