Netro Sprite

Good morning,


I have my netro sprite with green light showing connected.

Nonetheless, when executing the programs it shows "connection problems". When I try to run the programs manually, it keeps "connecting..." but does not open the valves so that it waters.


I have removed and reset the connection with the network, it becomes green again, but it still not work.

I have also reviewed the electrical connections on the valves, and they are ok.

I have also tested opening the valves manually, they open and water normally.


the only problem is when executing electronically... it keeps "connecting...." and does nothing.

Wifi error

Hello,

I get this error only on a couple of zones.  See the attached photo. As you can see the zone "misc" shows error.  Any ideas

Valve not opening

Unified controllers

It would be great if for someone like me there would be an option that unifies multiple controllers into just one home so that scheduling would be much easier and avoids multiple zones of different controllers run at the same time. When programming controllers in fact, I have to keep switching programming in various controllers to see if that time is not taken by another zone of another controller. Otherwise water pressure would be a problem if two or more zone are running at the same time in different controllers. 

I hope the message is clear and I hope it will be implemented in a future release as I don’t think it would be that difficult to create.

Multiple controllers — 1 app?

We have 3 controllers for over 24 zones. 

The challenge we’re having is that smart watering isn’t aware of what each controller is doing, so each controller winds up scheduling zones which all run at the same time. 

This is a problem due to the zones being starved for water pressure. 

Is there any way for the app to se all 3 of our controllers as 1 unified home/water supply?

Font size/ dark mode

Dark mode and font size (especially a problem with charts) are two things that were going to be addressed a few years ago. Could I please get a current status on when dark mode will be available and when font size, or at least the ability to zoom the app screen will be available? Turning on the Apple magnifier, or having to take a screenshot and then zoom that so that you can read data is very inconvenient.

Whisper set for additional water at 60%-not watering

I have three zones with Whisperer 2 devices that have been installed for some time. It to skip watering above 90% and water extra at 60%. Soil moisture is currently at 56% and to says it isn't going to wTer again for like 40 hours. What's up with that? There is only a 38% chance of rain, and that is .1 inches so that can't be it.

Da qualche giorno il dispositivo ha smesso di funzionare. Non irriga né manualmente né con il programma. Ho già provato a rimuoverlo dall’app e resettarlo, ma non è cambiato nulla. Cosa consigliate di fare? Grazie

Random Start

I don’t know what’s going on my Netro spark randomly started on its own at night. 5 or 6 times a night for 1 min up to 10 min. Yesterday it ranned for nearly 90 minutes. How can I prevent this?

Sprite went offline

System went offline at 2 in the morning and I can’t get any response. Checked the outlet and it’s working. Tried to reset. Unplugged and plugged back in. Help!

Sprite / Spark and Flume

I have a Flume on my master water meter.

Is anyone familiar with any integration between Sprite/Spark and Flume?


Thinking of scenarios like:

If Flume water is already in use heavily (can be defined) then delay watering

Logic between Flume and either Metro to help with faulty valve / leak detection based on water (augmenting Spark's*)

If Flume detects water is shut off, don't run any Netro programs


* I read in Wency's reply at (https://netrohome.com/en/forum/posts/3479/show_question) that 

"The faulty valve detection relies on monitoring the voltage and current of the water valve's operational state. As for measuring the volume of water consumed, it's a consideration for future developments."

Manual operation won’t come on

I live in Conroe, TX and I cannot get the manual operation to come on. I’m supposed to water every 2 weeks during the winter months if I have not had rain. No rain in over 2 weeks so I need to turn it on. I do not have anything programmed right now. Any suggestions?

Why is connection lost with my cover on. But when I take it off it then reconnects? My lawn once again looks like crap because this thing glitches out.

Zine will not run

I changed the sprinkler head on zone 5 after installing the new controller. All zones work but 5. I can run it manually. It won’t work on smart watering.

Zone won't shut off.

Hi,


I have 4 zones and a master valve. When I run any of the zones, they won't shut off when the timer runs out. If I switch the AC power off, then the valve will shut. I have checked the valve and it has no issue with opening and closing except when the sprite is running it. I tested cables for continuity, and I have tried swapping cables with no change. My ac power pack is AC 24v.


This issue affects each of the valves but only when controlled via the sprite. The valves are fully operational otherwise.


Hoping for a fix, otherwise will return to Amazon under warranty and get another brand.

Sprite controller cycles on and off wifi

My Netro controller is about three years old. I recently changed my Wi-Fi router about two months ago.  I repaired the controller with the new Wi-Fi, all seemed to work for a few days. Then the controller started cycling on and off of Wi-Fi. There are windows of several minutes that I can communicate with the controller, then windows of several hours when I cannot.  The light on the controller is solid for about 20 seconds, then three slow blinks, solid for 20 seconds, then three slow blanks, this pattern continues indefinitely. I have repaired the controller to WiFi several times. I have unplugged and then plugged the controller back in multiple times. Nothing seems to resolve the issue. It’s frustrating when I’m changing sprinkler heads and have to wait several hours to try a manual run to test the new heads. Has anyone else experience this and more importantly solved this issue? Thanks for the help!
