Please follow the steps to see it if works.


1. firstly, tap on "setup wifi", link to your smart phone wifi settings and connect to the temporary wifi "Netro_PLS_XXX".  

2. Quickly return to your Netro app, still in step 3 of 6, tap on "Next" button, select your homewifi and input your home wifi password.


If it still fails, please send us email to support@netrohome.com with your Netro account registered email. We will have our technician look into this issue.

Hi fernando, 


I think what you are looking at is the watering duration for the instant manual run (not the user program) in the zone sections shown on the home page. The system remembers the last duration of the instant manual run and displays that on the home page. The watering time for the program remains unchanged. You can go to Settings->Programs or Settings->Schedules\ to verify. 


Please tap on the "15:00" text and there will be a window pop up for changing that value.

Hi Bruce,


You can use the instant manual run feature on the Home page to turn on and off the zones instantly. The blue play button is for instant manual run for your zones. You can tap the "05:00" time value to change the watering duration to 1 minute.

Tap the blue button and there will be a pop up window. When the zone is being watered, the zone area will become blue and watering duration is shown in the lower left corner of the zone area. Tap the red square to stop watering.

Hi Alfonso, 


EPA mode allows the moisture level to deplete to a lower level  than deep mode before next watering, and it has  longer watering duration than any other smart watering modes.  We recommend using EPA mode to avoid watering equally everyday and instead to water less frequently but deeply.

Rainfall from weather station

Hi Jannis,


Netro sever side gets and updates weather information every early morning at 4 am. Netro gets weather forecast data to adjust watering.  If forecast data is wrong, Netro will adjust accordingly using the historical data. For example, if the forecast data is 10mm for today, but two days later, we got the actual rainfall is 5mm, Netro will adjust schedules and could water more accordingly.

Dear customer,


You will need to press the button 5-6 times to reset the sensor:
1. Press the power button once to turn on the sensor. If the sensor is already on, turn it off first by pressing the power button once.
2. Turn the sensor off quickly (in 1.5 seconds) before the LED light changes its color from white 
3. Press the button to turn on the sensor. Turn the sensor off quickly (in 1.5 seconds) before the LED light changes its color from yellow 
4. Press the button again to turn on the sensor. The LED should start to blink in white color.

Whats the difference between Forecast and Expectation

Hi Julio,


The expectation mode takes the forecasted precipitation and multiply it by the probability of rain which is more accurate. If the result is 0.2 inches or higher, than we will cancel watering schedules. For example, if rainfall is 0.2 inches but probability is 50%, then 0.2*.5 = .1, 0.1 is less than 0.2, so the watering will go as scheduled. But if rainfall is 0.4 inches with 50%, then the Smart Zone will cancel the watering schedule for that day.

Pixie displays Soil Moisture reading without any sensor

Hi Michael,


The soil moisture reading displays on home page even without a sensor assigned. We just checked your account and we found the smart watering is every nine days in April, this this due to the rain. The default watering frequency is every 5 days and you can check it in Settings->Garden->Smart Zone->Estimated frequency and duration. However, the actual watering frequency and duration may vary due to weather. If you want to adjust the  frequency and duration, you can change watering mode in Settings->Garden->Smart Zone->Mode.

The RED led light flashes means the device is completely out of battery now, which will need more time to charege it up. 

Please keep the sensor under direct sunlight for another 3-5 days, and press the power button again. Please let us know if it works.
