Is there a version of the app that runs on a Windows PC or a Raspberry Pi?

I run all my home automation on a dedicated Raspberry Pi so it would be nice to keep everything in one place.

Is there a way to give info to the app to dial in the soil moisture level?   I would like to measure soil moisture and input the info to my controller and the controller should adjust watering schedule. How about reminding user to check moisture level once in a while and input the info. Is this a thing?

Watering timing conflict in app

The whisperer sensor combined with the app seems confused. The app tells me to water every day however the sensor tells me a date on when to water next that is usually 8+ days later. 

The app doesn’t seem to talk to itself as far as the reminders are concerned.

Watering for less that 1 minute

I have one particular zone that i only require watering for 15 seconds every second day.

How can i do this?  i was able to do it on my previous OpenSprinkler.

This morning we noticed that my Sprite light was flashing. I tried to get into the app and it kept saying network error. I booted the Sprite, I booted my router, and the light is no longer flashing. 

But when I try to log into the app now it says network error. I logged into metrohome.com and my Sprite was able to work from naturalhome.com, but I am still not able to log in to the app. I use the same login at netrohome.com as I did with my app.

Good morning, I installed a Sprite 6 controller, it works perfectly, but I have three questions: 1. How do I change the irrigation percentage without changing the watering minutes for all the zones each time? 2. When rain or wind is forecast, does the irrigation program still skip even if the smart function is not enabled? 3. When I start a zone in manual mode, for example to control the sprinklers, is it normal for there to be a long delay between pressing the Stop button and the actual interruption? Thanks.

My system is connected to a 500 liter tank. If I turn on both zones, it empties in 13 minutes.

In the application there is no possibility to program the maximum irrigation time for each individual area. I want you to work at most 13 minutes!

Setup whisperer for skipping watering due high soil humidity

Hi, I have a Sprite 12 zones and a Whisperer 2 sensor added to the Netro app. However I cannot find any way to setup the sensor so that it inhibits watering if the measured humidity is higher than some value. The sensor is sending correct reading to the app but now it has been raining for few days and the Sprite keeps watering.


I would like to disable watering based on the sensor only and not on the weather forecast.


If in the app I select the Sprite, then go to settings>zones and select one zone i see the setting Sensor as "Not connected" but there is no way to connect a sensor. If i select the sensor and go to settings>sensor I see all the settings to change name, light color data send interval, but nothing about rain.


Can someone please help me? Thank you!

Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing a serious issue with my Netro Sprite 6 controller. It connects correctly to Wi-Fi and appears online in the app, but when I try to start irrigation manually, the app just stays on "in communication" and nothing happens.

Here’s what I’ve already tried:

- Restarting both the app and the device  
- Using a different Wi-Fi network, including a mobile hotspot  

Despite these attempts, the problem persists.

Whisperer low battery alert

My whisperer used outdoor gave me an alert here thru the Netro app saying it has 19% battery remaining. What does it mean? Is the solar no longer working? Is there another way to recharge it or can the rechargeable battery be replaced?

When pausing a zone for any reason during watering cycle, the zone is skipped. Is there any way to pause it then resume the watering cycle in the zone that was paused?

Sensors missing

Hello,

After the winter only one of my three sensors shows in the app.  (Twisty Baby Locust).  The other two do not, and when trying to add back in the app errors out as they are already associated with my account....how do I find them and get them back?  I have charges both to ensure good power, and waited multiple day for them to sync, but still missing.

1 out of 9 zones only work manually

Hello,

Zone 4 out of my nine zones will only run when I manually  turn the  controller valve  in the box in the ground, and not from my metro sprite app. I tried removing and inserting the zone 4 wire in the Netro slot , but still no luck . All the other zones will run from the app except zone 4. Please help.

Unified controllers

It would be great if for someone like me there would be an option that unifies multiple controllers into just one home so that scheduling would be much easier and avoids multiple zones of different controllers run at the same time. When programming controllers in fact, I have to keep switching programming in various controllers to see if that time is not taken by another zone of another controller. Otherwise water pressure would be a problem if two or more zone are running at the same time in different controllers. 

I hope the message is clear and I hope it will be implemented in a future release as I don’t think it would be that difficult to create.
