Hello again, i found that i can set night times on the webpage, and it get sets on the app after that.   But if i try from the app i cannot set any night times.

Stand alone Whisperer 2 Sensor

Hi,

We have a Netro Pixie that we have been using to water trees in our backyard.

We purchased two Whisperer 2 sensors to help understand how much to water.

We paired and installed one sensor which is linked to the Pixie.  This sensor works well and reports light, moisture and temperature and appears in the app in the zone watered by our Pixie.

The other sensor installed as "standalone".  This sensor does not show up on our app including in settings.

How do we access this "standalone" sensor or data?

Pixie & Wisper 2 - How to get them to connect?

I have purchased 3x Wisper 2s and 3x Pixies as well as a Spark. I want to set the watering frequency based on information from the Whispers. In the app, it has a sensor field, but it's not selected. I can't find any instructions on getting them to work together. I opened a ticket with support 2 days ago but no response.

Meaning of Pie-Chart Illustration in Sensor Graph

Hi there, Ive noticed that some of the pie-slices in the moisture/temperature/lux graphs from my Whisperer Plant Sensors are heavily coloured (darker) and some are lightly coloured (lighter). Is this supposed to indicate something? 


I suspected that maybe the difference in colour reflects upload as either live (or cached), but I double checked and they all have >50% wifi connection strength and report regularly...

To put Sprite in "paused" mode in winter, you will have winterize your system. First you will have to blow out the sprinkler. You can look at this video to find some useful information.

This video mentioned that you will have to turn on the sprinkler, so you can use the instant manual run feature in the home page to manually start watering for each zone to make sure all the water is out of system.


Then you should put Sprite in "paused" mode just in case some one (for example the kids) accidentally starts a manually run from the app. To put Sprite in "paused" mode, you can go to the Home page->"Enabled".

PROGRAMS. "NOTES" FIELD

I am using Netro software with a Sprite-6 controller. After some moths use I am delighted with the system. The tools it provides help me a lot controlling my garden, with good results. Congratulations. Normaly I use three out of my four zones in Smart (advanced) mode, and the fourth one in Smart (Basic).

I would be useful if we could have a field (name it "Notes" or similar) so that we could enter useful information about the use of each individual program (for example, "I reduced frecuency to alternate days after Oct 15th", or other information. 

Not having that field causes useful feedback not to be available when managing programs.

Sprite 12 Controller Problem

Controller light is off and displays Offline status. Rebooted router resulting in WiFI connections elsewhere in my house and to my other devices except for the Sprite controller. Repowered Sprite controller and also did a reset— same status with no light and Offline status. Help!

Hub with more than 1 timers

Dear netro team

I have a  hub with more than 1 timers. But via the app it is only possible to manage 1 of the 2 timers. Is this a bug. So I can't explore the second timer timer and therefore I can also not get the data via API, because I can't see the MAC or Serial No. Can you please help here?

2 zonas funcionando a la vez?

No consigo que la aplicación permita 2 zonas activas a la vez. Solo funciona de manera secuencial (Zona 1, luego Zona 2, luego Zona 3, etc).

Yo necesito activar 2 a la vez para regar y abonar al mismo tiempo.

Alguien tiene una solución por favor?

Sprinkler Type for Soaker Hose

I am using 1/4 inch soaker hose for my netro controlled irrigation system, yet that is not an option in the "sprinkler type" selection box. What Sprinkler Type should I choose as an equivalent? Are there any plans to add Soaker Hose as an option in a future update?


I have small lengths of soaker hose encircling the base of each of my 20 bushes with lengths of standard hose running between them. for a total lengh of 50 feet of soaker hose.

Alexa Skill and Integration with App

This skill needs an urgent update.  There is no way to have Alexa water unless it is all zones or 1 zone at a time.  Have written 3 different watering programs for my 16 zones as not all zones require watering on same day or times etc...however, unlike the Orbit BHyve for example, you cannot have Alexa water Program A for example...so no manual watering of any program via Alexa unless all 16 zones or 1 at a time!  Asking Alexa to water means ALL zones which is not desirable for so many customers.  And my regular 6 zones that require watering at different times is painful by one zone at a time via Alexa.  Smart Watering has proved unreliable with my soil and plant type so not to be trusted and now unused by me. Why on earth can it not be updated to allow for a program to run via Alexa like all the other wifi controllers that are Alexa enabled?  Purchased this only for Alexa capabilities so horribly disappointed.  And why on earth can one not save a manual program WITHOUT a start time?  If it needs a start time it is not manual!  I know there is the Backup program for loosing wifi.  But at this stage it is hard to understand why something so basic in an Alexa Skill like running a program (for specific zones only) has not already been implemented.  Have emailed customer support regarding this several days ago and as yet no response.  Please advise of a way around this.  Help would be appreciated, kind regards

Spark and Sensors

Hi all,

I use 1 Netro Spark with 2 Whisperer sensors.

All devices are added to the app and i can see in the app.


In the app I can open by dropdown on top the Spark OR the Sensors. When i open there the Spark and go to setup, then i can can see the entry sensor, but the i can not add the sensors i have. 


I want to connect the sensors to the spark and the spark should Start the watering in relation to the real condition measured from the sensors. 


But how to connect the Whisperer to the Zones?

How do I change the date format from American? In Australia we use the following format: DD/MM/YYYY. Shouldn't the app be set to read the default setting of the phone?

Need a big red button on the home page of the app that says stop all watering for today.

Once you have programs setup to do your watering, you hardly ever get into this app unless you need to stop watering, change the program, or test a zone with a broken/fixed head. My biggest complaint about this app is that when I need to stop watering for the day (for various reasons), I have to remember how to do that in the Netro app, and fumble through menu after menu to figure it out, because I do not use it every day. I just want to stop the dang watering for the day. There needs to be a button right on the first page that comes up to stop or suspend all watering schedules for the day. I told Moen if they put that in there app, I will switch in a heart beat. Giving you the opportunity to keep a customer and put into your app.
