Hi Andy,


Currently our regulation database only covers some cities in UK. It takes some time for us to cover all the water regulations in UK and we are not sure about the time.


If your local regulation is missing, you can write to us support@netrohome.com and we will check and update our regulation database accordingly within a few days.

Hi Bruce,


Do you start instant manual run from the home page and Netro waters only three minutes? You can tap the value on the home page to change the watering duration. You can also go to Settings->Programs to create your watering programs and set certain amount of watering time.

Custom weather sources possible?

If the default weather provider (DarkSky) doesn't work for you, you could try other weather source in settings->controller->weather provider. Netro supports Weather Underground PWS, in which you can specify the weather station you want to use.

We have implemented the app notification when the device starts to water. Currently it is ready for beta testing. Please let us know if you are interested in trying this feature and if yes we will enable it internally for you. In the next app release there will be a public on/off control for this feature.

How program without smart program

Hi Petro, 


If you do not want smart zone schedule to override your own programmed schedule, you can set up the Smart Zone level from Advanced to Basic (Settings->Zones->Smart Zone), which only skip rainning days for your programmed schedule. How do I do long uninterrupted watering?

Dear customer,


Netro breaks the watering into many pieces to avoid water runoff. You can create muliple programs for each zone to water for 4 hours.  The maximum watering time for each program is 60 minutes. If you want to water more than 60 minutes, just create another program for this zone.

2 controllers with one water supply

Dear Brad,


Currently the controllers are independent from each other.  Multiple controllers are not aware of each other now.


For users who have more than 12 zones, we are thinking about recognizing additional controllers as extensions, not as different units. When adding a second controller, it becomes zones 13-24, the third would be 25-36, etc. In this way, there will be no overlapping of watering times and users can see one schedule for the day and do not need to switch between controllers.

I think one possible workaround it to add restrictions, for example, you can tell one controller to only water on even days and the other one to water on odd days. Or one controller to only water before 7am and the other one only water after 7am.

For new plant,  you can use the "New Plant" mode of smart zone.Please go settings->zones->specific zone number->smart zone-enabled->Mode->new plant.

Netro allows one sensor to monitor up to 3 zones but you will need to make sure the zones have similar environmental conditions. You can go to  Settings->Sensors, select a sensor, go to Zones and select the zones you would like to monitor.

Dear customer,


Please unplug the power and check if the water stops. If the water continues, your sprinklers or valves might have some issues. Also, please make sure you are using an AC power adapter instead of a DC power adapter.
