Dear customer,


Thanks for your info. The load error is a message that indicates an unstable network connection after the manual run starts. The load error suggests the user check the network or refresh the home page. 


Currently, Netro devices cannot detect whether the water valve is open. Netro only detects whether the device valve is open, but not whether there is water flow. We may consider optimizing this feature in the future and I have forwarded it to our R&D.


We do not send notification of when the device start to water or finish watering since that will be too many notifications and we do not spam the user. 

However, We have implemented the app notification when the device starts to water. Currently it is ready for beta testing. If you are interested in trying this feature, we will enable it internally for you. In the next app release, there will be a public on/off control for this feature.

Not enough watering

Dear customer,


Netro's smart watering is calculated based on various factors such as plant type, soil type, and soil moisture conditions. Adjusting the frequency or duration too high may result in water wastage. If you want to strictly water your plants for 30 minutes a day,  we suggest set up a program and set the smart watering level as basic level. 


Alternatively, you can adjust the flow rate, soil type, or plant type to water your plants for 30 minutes a day,, but we do not recommend these methods as they may deviate from the actual zone information.

Dear customer,


You may accidentally press the "rain delay" in the home page, which will cause restrictions in your schedules. 


To cancel the restriction, please go to schedule->tab the specific date (date with gray dot beneath is your restriction date), then tab on the specific restriction, it will give you option to cancel the restriction. 


Rain delay is to forbidden watering in the next following days after rain and it is one-time setting. If you want to save the settings, please go to settings->preferences -> rain -> days to skip.

We have found that the weather forecasts provided by AccuWeather are generally accurate. According to the forecast, the weather for Monday is expected to range between 65°F and 84°F (18°C to 29°C), with a humidity of 88%. On Tuesday, the forecast indicates temperatures between 65°F and 81°F (18°C to 27°C), with a humidity of 88%.

If you want to try other weather report, please go to settings->weather provider. You can switch to other weather providers to see if it works better. You could also try weather provider: Wunderground PWS and input your station ID.  


You can adjust the rain data through Discover page->"+" button on the upper right corner-> Correct rainfall. You could also customized the weather restrictions, like I want to skip the schedules on the day after tomorrow as well, or I want to skip if rain more than 0.1 inch. The setting is in "setting -> preferences -> rain".

Moisture level

Dear customer,


There is a workaround way. You can go to Discover page, tap the “+” button and select ”correct Rainfall” and choose a higher value. In this way Netro will automatically increase your moisture level to a higher value. We can also help you set 100% moisture from our server side.

Battery LED Blinking

Dear customer,

Could you please check your battery socket to see if there is any corrosion or water sign? If possible please take a picture of pixie battery socket.
Please fully charge the battery with the USB charge port, until the battery shows the green light. When it is charging,  is it in red light?

Repeating same area in the same day

Dear customer,


Netro calculates the smart schedules based on environmental conditions including the soil type. If some zones are watered multiple times a day, you probably selected clay, clay loam or loam as the soil type which accepts water slowly, often as little as 1/4 inch per hour and that is why we break the watering into many pieces to avoid water runoff.

Connection issue

Dear customer,

Could you please let us know the LED status? Could you please follow the steps below to reset the unit:
1.Power off the device(unplug the power adapter)
2.Wait for 2 seconds, plug the power back in
3.Wait for 3 minutes for the device to start up
4.Press the reset button for less than 1 second to do a soft reset (use a pin insert to the RST hole button, when you feel a "click" release the button)
5.Wait for 5 seconds. This should set the light to slow blinking.
6. Then you can go to the Netro app -> settings-> controller -> change wifi network/password.

Automatic shutdown when it's raining

Dear customer,


You can customize the weather restrictions  This is in setting -> preferences -> rain. By default, Netro skip schedules today and tomorrow if today rains more than 0.2 inch. You can customize it, like I want to skip the schedules on the day after tomorrow as well, or I want to skip if rain more than 0.5 inch.

Do you have a master zone/pump? Could you please do a test: Manually water each zone with 1 minute intervals and check if every zone shuts off after 1 minute every time?

Not recognizing rain forecast or actual

When the smart zone is enabled, Netro will skip smart watering and programs when there is large amount of rain(>0.2inch/ 5.08 mm) or watering regulations and manual restrictions. Could you please check if your smart zone is enabled?

Dear customer,


Could you please check the smart watering level of your zones? If it is the basic level, the smart zone schedule will not override your own programmed schedules.  You will need to add programs manually.
