Will the hub continue to run the watering schedule when there is no internet service? I am watering at a remote location where internet service is spotty, and I am not always there.

Moisture and weather API

Hello there,

I'm making use of Netro API to:

  • Update the soil moisture of my zone in order to get precise and updated data
  • Update past-1-day, current and 5-day forecast
API calls works, but I get weird values for the zone: I put 38% as humidity and I see a 23% in the app, if I send 100% then I get 70%. How this works? There are some kind of calculations that take in account historical data? (I have a Whisperer sensor I've stopped using since it give quite random data).

As I've seen even meteo information change humidity value of the zone.

Is this unit capable of running unrestricted? My shit is dying here and I'm not happy with the difficulty associated with running this thing! I find it way too complicated! I sincerly wish I hadn't purchased it!

New Sprite will not connect to Wifi

I just bought a Sprite 6 for my new house. It will not connect to WiFi. I checked the password, added a range extender, made sure I was connecting to the 2.4 channel, and opened up guest access, but it still won’t connect. I even unhooked the pump wires and tried to set it up right next to my router and still nothing.I have one set up at my old house and have never had issues.

LOAD ISSUE NOTIFICATION

While I was doing some tests with my installation (Sprite-6), I received a notification warning me of a "load error". It happened while I was manual-watering ant the water supply valve was shut. I found it very useful. Now, two questions arise:

(a) I never found the above notification in the "Notifications" section of my account. Wouldn´t it be expected there?;

(b) Is it possible to know the list of notifications that the system can send to the user, so that one could know the system better and prepare strategies if needed? 

Evereyday I am happier with my Sprite. I find it to be a top system. Congratulations to the team!

Not enough watering

Hey everybody, 

My actual device hunter x-core 6 is watering the plant area (150m2) every day for 30 minutes on a sunny day having 22 degrees. The hunter makes a plus/minus adjustment of the weather differs from the "usual day". 


Now I bought Netro sprite because it has WiFi and a nice app. But I can't find a way to have a similar setup. (Around 30 minutes daily watering with weather adjustment by weather app) . I tried to change all parameters but I didn't get even close. (Every 1.6 days around 12 minutes, see attached screenshot.)


Can anybody help me?

Spanish translation problem

Hi.


At some places in the Netro App and in the website (like in the program edition screen) somebody translated the english word "Back" (the caption in the button you use to go back to the previous screen) to the spanish word "Espalda".


That is absolutely wrong, in spanish "Espalda" refers only to the anatomic back side of the human body.


You should use instead the words "Retroceder" or "Atrás", both mean to go back or to undo something.

Previsioni meteo sbagliate

Le previsioni del tempo sono completamente sbagliate, quindi non si può usare in modalità risparmio acqua, addirittura o segna che piove sempre anche quando non piove per una settimana o proprio le date sono completamente sbagliate. A qualcuno funziona correttamente? Grazie

Battery LED Blinking

The battery LED on my Netro Pixie-1 is blinking between red and green. After charging it for a time, it stays in this state, and the Pixie will not turn on. I assume that this is cause the battery cell is shot. Can anyone confirm this? If so, can someone point me into a direction to repair?

Hi, trying to register my geographical position (in Italy) I don't have the possibility to modify the fields in the photo, remaining in the USA.  For this reason the application time is totally wrong.  How can I fix?

My basic issue is the one given by the title of my question but behind there is a more simple question:


1. My zone is given as 99% humidity by GET /npa/v1/moistures.json

2 This zone is linked to a Whisperer Sensor indicating a humidity level of 36% (very low)

3 The next valid schedule is within 2 days. It seems very late for an advanced/new plant mode configuration and sunny conditions in the next few days


What is the value of humidity (99% or 36%) Netro is relying on to calculate the next watering schedule ?


Further more, if I set 36% using POST /npa/v1/set_moisture.json, the next watering is in 11 hours, what inspires me more confidence
