Disconnecting Constantly

My Netro Smart Sprinkler Controller, WiFi, Weather aware, Remote access, 6 Zone, Compatible with Alexa disconnects CONSTANTLY from the app/network and I’m about to put back on our old school controller. Today it disconnected IN THE MIDDLE of watering the lawn while I was feeding/putting my baby down for a nap and it ended up watering for 28 mins, flooding my backyard. Ugh. 


Any tips on fixing this? I do not have intermittent internet or power issues. Is there a hardware update? Aside from this, I LOVE it - but this is kind of a deal killer for me. I plan to call customer service on Monday, but thought I’d check here for tips to see if I can fix it sooner.

Not watering on any zone

The sprite worked perfect for about 3 weeks. Went out of town for a week, during that time it snowed for the entire duration of my trip. The unit worked as it should and didnt water. However when it should have picked up its schedule after weather cleared it did not. It will not run its zone at all. I have checked the resistance on all zones solenoids and they are fine at 28 ohm. I reconnected my old hunter system and all zones worked properly with that controller. So whats the next step?

Constant Blinking

My device appears to be connected and working, but I noticed the light on the unit is blinking constantly.  Is it supposed to be doing that?

Don’t Stop !!

I have a problem. May be is the installation. The programm start watering ok, but when finish the App programm never stop watering until I desconnect the cable 24V. Somebody can help me ? It’s possible the cable connection wrong? (I have only 1 zone and the connection is: yellow to C, brown 1 and blue 2 ). Thank you very much

Have to reboot Sprite every day.

My Netro worked perfectly last season.  I left it plugged in through the winter and disabled the zones.  At some point during the winter, the light started blinking, and I didn’t worry about it until last week when I went to reactivate the zones.  The app indicated the sprite was offline, so I rebooted and it came back online with a solid light.  System worked with no issues.

The next day, the light was flashing again and app indicated offline.  This time I pressed the rest button and rejoined the network.  Again, worked for a day.  The next day, same problem - this time I rebooted my router.  Again it worked, but offline again the next day.  Don’t understand why it keeps losing connection this year.

Is there a way to just set a test run of 1 minute per station?

When trouble shooting it would be nice to have a test run button so you could just run all the stations one minute. You can manually run each station but you have to do it for each station which is a pain. I have someone working on my system and I have to run it for them and stand there to run each station.

Zone won’t turn on when manually turn it on

Hello I’m having an issue when I try to manually turn on a zone it doesn’t go on. It always worked and started doing this. I trying restarting the whole thing and when I turned the zone on by the Solonid the zone comes on fine. Any idea?

Sprite seems to open valve then fails to deliver water to the system

I have had my Sprite installed for a couple of weeks and all seemed well, but looking at my garden I realized it was not watering. When I turn it on manually I can hear a short buzz and water entering the valve, but there is no flow. I can open the valve manually and water then flows. I have reverted the valve to the old timer and it then opens the valve, so I don't think the problem lies there. 

I have the black wire on the valve connected to the common terminal, which was how it was set up on the old timer. I cannot figure out what the the problem is. 

I am an international user with a non-Netro PSU, but it seems to as specified: 24VAC 850mA Adapter AC-AC 100V-240V to 24VAC Power Supply Adapter UK PLUG

Can anyone help me overcome this problem with what otherwise seems to be an excellent system?

Whisper to standalone zone - Error

Hello!  I just got a whisper and wanted to add it to a stand-alone zone but keep getting the following error: Error no info about this zip code in our DB. Any thoughts?  I can add it to one of my other zones?

Solid white light can't connect to phone

I connected to the netro wih the app a few times no problem. Then it said failed to connect. The light is solid white no blinking. I have uplugged it reset it multiple times and deleted and reinstalled the app. Any help?

Why is my sprite watering zones multiple times a day

Installed sprite after I got it for Christmas.  Today it started watering on its own for the first time and certain zones ran for almost 45 minutes and a couple zones watered more than one time in a day.  What the heck is going on????

not watering after installation

I installed two Netro Sprites to replace the previous controllers. The installation itself went fine, and I was able to verify that the first one waters the zones fine.


However, the second one does not water any zones. All the status indicators are fine, I hear the water getting turned on, and everything but no watering. What could be wrong? The wiring seems pretty simple. One common wire, 4 zone wires, and the power. All the wires are securely in. What are the ways to troubleshoot this?

Water pump shutting off

My water turns on then about a minute into the cycle it will suddenly shut down. The app says it is still going but water is not coming out of the sprinklers. Help

Sprite not running zones after power outage

Hi, my Sprite does not run any program on any zone following a power outage.  The zones are scheduled, I can see them in the calendar, but they don’t run.  Anyone seen this problem?
