Hi Joe,

Yes you can use the moisture  level reported by whisperer to control watering of the Sprite controller. Please go to Settings->Sensors, select your sensor and tap Watering Adjustment, then select moisture  to skip watering/add watering.

Please get a 220VAC-24VAC power adapter, with >300AMP if you do not have master valve, or >600AMP if you have a power adapter.

If your unit is in Host mode, it means your unit is hosted by Netro internal wifi "Netro_IRC_XXX". During setup,  it will tell you to look for a internal wifi "Netro_IRC_XXX", then connect your smart phone to this internal wifi first.

Netro will check the weather data for the past and get new weather data at 4 am in the morning to adjust following schedules accordingly. So if watering in actual is less, Netro will adjust the watering for next few days. You can also correct rainfall in Dicover page-> tap the "+" button on upper right corner.

Currently Netro can only run one zone at a time, so different zones for the same time cannot be created. This limitation is due to the fact that the power adaptor can only provide 600mA max current which is only enough for running one valve (when master valve is used).

We will support running multiple zones at the same time in future.

We checked your account and you have created your programs with the smart zone feature.  If you do not want smart zone schedules to override your own programmed schedule, you can set up the Smart Zone level from Advanced to Basic(Go to Settings->Zones->Smart Zone), which only skip rainning days for your programmed schedule.

1. As to set up sqm, the unit is square meter. If you change the area, the water usage will be different. Netro uses the area and depth flow rate(inch/hour) to calculate the water usage. When the sprinkler system is professionally designed and installed, the zone is usually covered evenly, which means the large the zone is, the more sprinkler heads it needs. So the equation we use is Area(inch^2) x depth flow rate (inch/hour) x time (hour) = water usage(inch^3)

2. Yes you could set your zone with customized mode. To adjust smart watering, please go to settings->zones->select a zone->smart zone and choose your preferred watering mode. You can choose "customized" mode to adjust watering by providing the preferred moisture level and flow rate of your sprinklers.

Netro tries the best to provide accurate watering schedule even with incorrect forecast. First, we periodically update the weather data, once the weather data is changed, we update the un-executed schedules ASAP. Second, we re-check the weather data for the past, update our model, and adjust following schedules accordingly. For example, Netro may not water today due to large rainfall from forecast data. The next day, Netro re-check the weather data, if no rainfall found and your soil is dry enough, Netro will water accordingly.

1. If the wifi is disconnected, your device can still run up to one month. Netro can work up to one month without wifi according to pre-reladed schedule. When you see your schedule on Netro app, Netro always have one month schedule saved on local and will be updated every day when the device is connected with wifi.

2. If you turn on the smart zone feature, Netro will skip the schedules (including manual schedules from user programs) when there is a chance of significant rain.

3. Yes. The sensor measures the top soil and our model could estimate moisture level of deep soil.  If sensor is associated, our model uses both the top soil and deep soil moisture to estimate and adjust smart watering schedules.

Adding a master valve to the sprinkler system is a common practice and your Netro controller supports master valves. A master valve will prevent water leakage when one of the regular valve fails to shut off. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Netro will check the weather data for the past and get new weather data at 4 am in the morning to adjust following schedules accordingly. Netro also supports rainfall adjustment (Please go to the Discover page and tap the "+" button on the upper right corner,  select "Correct Rainfall") 

The expectation will take the forecasted precipitation and multiply it by the probability of rain. If the result is 0.2 inches or higher, than we will cancel watering schedules. For example, if rainfall is 0.2 inches but probability is 50%, then 0.2*.5 = .1, 0.1 is less than 0.2, so the watering will go as scheduled. But if rainfall is 0.4 inches with 50%, then the Smart Zone will cancel the watering schedule for that day.
