Could you please let us know on which day your zone 4 was watered on the highest heat of the day? We found Netro watered your zone 4 around 6 pm which should not be too hot. If you prefer to water at evening, please go to Settings->Preferences->Scheduling to set your preferred watering time.

I don't recommend watering after 8a and before 8p because evaporation is the highest with will burn ur shrubs. Your best best is to water an hour after the sunset. 

I've set  mine to every 4 days for 20 mins. 

You want to train your shrubs and grass to root deeper. Watering everyday will teach the plants to grow shallow roots. So less frequent with longer watering cycles is best
