Erroneous "smart" scheduling

I cannot "Edit" an existing schedule!? I wish I didn't have to delete my account and start the installation all over again!!! 

And after putting the new schedule data, the programming went bezerk! I've capture the weirdest program that was injected by Netro, not me!  

I've taken the snap shots of the wired vs good program off of my screen, but cannot share these images here!?

The app has a bug

Hello, the metro app does not work well, it closes when I check the weekly status in the following menu. 

my phone is samsung A32 ,Android version 12.

Where can I get an operator's manual??

I have just installed a 12 zone Sprite controller and am definitely not impressed.  Over waters, in my experience.  So I've turned off the fully autonomous "smart" part and am trying to set up "basic" watering schedules like the old days.


I have been installing residential sprinkler systems since the 1970s and this little controller has me flummoxed.


What would help is a detailed operator's manual to help explain icons and features.  I've looked for one online and to no avail, can't find anything.


Here's one for example...  I want to remotely turn on one zone for a set amount of time, either for testing or additional watering.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

App help to program to not water if it rained

Hey All!

I have a Netro sprite. I want to water my grass everyday unless it rained or is going to rain. It rained something crazy last night and yet it still watered this morning. What am I missing? 


Also I hit rain delay earlier and hit done showing a 5 day delay, how do I change that once I hit it. It still shows the next watering is in 5 days. 


I’m pretty good with computers and apps but this one isn’t easy for me to wrap my head around. Things just don’t seem to be easy to make things happen. IMHO!

Any way to turn on sprinkler zone manually in app?

Is there some kind of local control except directly on the spark itself? I cant seem to find a way to manually turn on a zone without running a one off program wich is not instant. Let say i want to turn on a valve to do quick test

I haven't seen a response from Netro on this topic for a while so wondered about the status. Does Netro plan to support "Home Assistant" integration?  HA is a very popular open source home automation platform that already has support for most other irrigation controllers.

Zone won't shut off

I am having issues with my zones running when they aren't scheduled to and I can't shut them off. The runs are not showing in the app either. I unplugged Zone 1 from the controller (currently the zone that is running unscheduled) and it didn't shut it off. What do I do?

Device and app depends on Netro servers

Hello.

Everything was fine so far with my sprite controller and I must say I like it a lot.

During this Saturday, I was not able to reach the app. It was opening and closing right after. I reinstalled it. Same behaviour. I installed it on another phone with the same result.

I went to the main website and could witness no login or forum was available allegedly due to a high volume of traffic. 

My device should be able to work independently from your servers availability. If your company runs of business today, how are your customer going to use the devices they bought from you?

It is urgent, you update your app to be able to work autonomously in offline mode, regardless the state of your servers

Netro weather not setting schedule for watering

Netro weather not setting schedule for watering.  I have to water manually.  Why?  I do not have smart sensors so that is not selected.  All zones are enabled, but If I do not set a manual watering schedule it won't water.  Also it is treating every day as a rain day.  How do I change this?

Customized watering feature, specifications

I would like to be able to customize the smart watering feature. Unfortunately, the application rate calculation for the sprinkler specifications seam to be incorrect. For example, I use hunter mp rotator rotary spray nozzles to irrigation a specific section of grass. They have a really low application rate at about 0.4 inches per hour. In comparison, I have another section of lawn where I use Rainbird RVan rotary sprays with an application rate closer to 0.68 inches an hour. Using the default settings for rotary sprays does not account for this range of application rates. When I use the customized mode smart zone function and I input the application rates for the sprinkler specifications, the calculation for duration increases to above 3000 minutes! Am I missing something? It would be incredibly helpful if I could be able to customize smart watering based on the application rates of my sprinklers.

Pixie water pressure

Hi - I recently installed a Smart Pixie faucet. Weirdly, my water pressure is ok when the faucet isn’t connected, however when I connect it, the water only drips out from the other end and so my plants get watered very little. Any ideas what the issue might be? Thanks

Waters excessively

I have a smart schedule enabled and it is watering excessively to the point of a $300 water bill. This doesn’t seem smart at all! I don’t know how to adjust the time frames on a smart schedule? It doesn’t appear to acknowledge the time frames that I have listed.

I got a $977 water bill this week. Unfortunately, the Netro web site only provides daily figures for one month. I wonder if it's possible to request 90 days' data to help me with this issue?

Netro connection to IFTTT

I have an irrigation system setup to a eWeLink. Trying to use IFTTT to automatically turn on the pump when my Netro Whisperer sensor tells me I need to water. It doesn't seem like IFTTT differentiates the different types of alerts Netro sends out.


Anyone had luck?
