Could you please check the soil around the sensor if it's tight enough? If there is large gap between soil and sensor, the air could cause noise.

Hi Jason,


If the power adapter is not working, we will ship you a replacement power adapter. Could you please do a test by connecting your power adapter two strings together for less than one second, and then release. See if there is any spark. Please let us know the result.

Program Not Running

 For the 1 minute instant manual run, the system remembers the last duration of the instant manual run and displays that on the home page. The watering time for the program remains unchanged. You can go to settings->programs to verify.

Smart Controller Not Very Smart

Are you using the latest beta version? The beta version is using the UTC time so it has the time display error. This error will be fixed in the next release of the app. The actual watering date is 09/08, which is correct.

Hi Alfonso,


Both Eco mode and EPA mode save more water compared to other watering modes. Deep mode has longer watering frequency than regular mode and it has more watering amount than regular mode.

Any way to adjust whatever the rain threshold is for when it waters?

Hi Sean,

You can customize the weather restrictions now through setting -> preferences -> rain. By default, Netro skip schedules today and tomorrow if today rains more than 0.2 inch. You can customize it, like I want to skip the schedules on the day after tomorrow as well, or I want to skip if rain more than 0.5 inch.

Delete all schedules

Dear customer,


We checked your smart schedules and the smart watering is once a week. This is about right. You think it's too many because Netro waters your zone multiple times a day. Your zones are watered multiple times a day, you probably selected clay, clay loam or loam as the soil type which accepts water slowly, often as little as 1/4 inch per hour and that is why we break the watering into many pieces to avoid water runoff.


If you still want to delete and start all over, please write to support@netrohome and I will have our R&D look into it.
