App Crashes on adding product

Hi,


I just received my Pixie and Whisperer and wanted to set them up using my iPhone. 

Therefore I launch the app and go to "Add Product", select the Pixie and then I'm promted to enter my location and a name for the timer.

When I click on "next" the app crashes and returns to the home screen. 100% reproducible. I tried to enter different adress and name, but couldn't make it work. Crashes every time. 

Reinstall also didn't solve the problem.


Netro App: 2.4.0

iPhone 11 Pro

iOS 13.3.1

German (also tried English)


Let me know, if you need anything else to reproduce/solve this issue or if there is something that I could do to prevent it. 
So far, I couldn't find anything in the forum here.

new dripping system using Pixie and Whisperer

I am in the process of designing my dripping system for my beach house in FL. I am thinking about using 2 Pixies and several Whisperers. I have several questions: 1) What happens when the WIFI is down? Does Pixie turn watering off/on on its own? 2) Does Pixie skip a watering cycle when raining? 3) Are the Whisperers connected to the Pixie and App in that the humidity information guides the amount and frequency of watering? 4) What is the recommended soil humidity for new planted palm trees? Watering stop problem

When I start watering to give it a try. Everything's going well. But when I want to stop watering it's impossible. I have to turn off the power so that netro stops the watering.

WeatherPro is the problem ?


For information, I have an electrovanne rainbird.

Changing ownership of home

I'm selling my house with a sprite 12 zone system already set up. How do I transfer this to a new owner without having to reset zones, naming the zones, selecting type of plants and timers?


I know they will have a new wifi router. I think I can set that up.

Netro Whisperer no longer measures soil moisture accurately

I have the Netro Whisperer and, recently, it is only indicating 1% soil moisture even though it’s inserted into a fully wetted pot.  I’ve tried cleaning the sensor stake and recalibrating it but it still only indicates 1% soil moisture on the app.  How can I correct this?

Whisperer does not save through weeks and months

I have got a whisperer sensor since 6 months. It gives me each day the expected figures (temp, humidity, ...) but I have got no figures in the week and month view. It looks like the figures are not kept along days, weeks and month.

hi there, my sprite was working fine for 3 month , now i had no internet for 24 hours and sprite did not connect to the internet anymore . I restarted the router and then the sprite and still no internet connection but my router is fine and i have internet. So i reset the sprite and now it says i need to allow location service on my phone but it is on!!! it will not allow me to setup the sprite and i don't know what to do?

To put Sprite in "paused" mode in winter, you will have winterize your system. First you will have to blow out the sprinkler. You can look at this video to find some useful information.

This video mentioned that you will have to turn on the sprinkler, so you can use the instant manual run feature in the home page to manually start watering for each zone to make sure all the water is out of system.


Then you should put Sprite in "paused" mode just in case some one (for example the kids) accidentally starts a manually run from the app. To put Sprite in "paused" mode, you can go to Settings->Controller->Enabled.

Netro has updated max day regulation

Recently Netro has enabled the max day Restriction in Settings->Regulation for those cities which limit watering to one or two days per week. We are aware that many cities are under mandatory regulation and the penalty for violating the water regulations is large, therefore, we have enabled the max day regulation.

Users can go to Settings->Regulations to check and please feel free to report us if the regulation is incorrect.

For some local regulations, we are not quite sure if it is conservation plan or mandatory regulation. If the regulation is not needed, please write to us support@netrohome.com and we will check and update our regulation database accordingly.

Soil Types

The app asks me to define my soil type and gives me a small list to choose from. I'm no gardening expert by any means and so I'm not really sure I've got this right. I selected the most draining type based on nothing more that guesswork really. We're in Yucatán, México so the entire area is limestone rock, but this website (https://sites.google.com/site/soilsoftheyucatanpeninsula/soil-types) gives more detail about the soil types in Yucatán. All this has done though is confuse me more. 


Is there any reliable way that I can determine my soil type in Netro? The website says it's likely to be one (or a combination) of Gleysols, Histosols, Vertisols, Solonchaks, Leptosols, and Cambisols

Watering

I have my first period of rain coming up, so the smart schedule isn't planning on watering until Christmas Eve. Since getting the sensors working properly I've been very happy with the smart watering, but the rain predictions here tend to be a bit sketchy. As my system is saying it won't water because there is rain expected, does it automatically adjust itself and water if the predicted rain doesn't arrive?


Also, I have it set to not water if expected rain is 5mm. What is the difference in this context between expectation and forecast?

Neither whisperer is now working

I have two whisperers, one in zone 2 at the front and one in zone 4 at the back. We're in Mexico so it's ridiculously hot and sunny all the time. The unit at the back faces north west. The unit at the front faces north. Both units are now dead. Neither will reset or power up.
