Is there any reason for which Moisture to skip watering cannot be less than 50% ?

Hello, 

Problem: Ventiles open by Netro successfully (by schedule or manually. But after the run time the Ventiles do not close. The only option i have is the switch off the Netro. Than the ventiles close.

Alexa Skill and Integration with App

This skill needs an urgent update.  There is no way to have Alexa water unless it is all zones or 1 zone at a time.  Have written 3 different watering programs for my 16 zones as not all zones require watering on same day or times etc...however, unlike the Orbit BHyve for example, you cannot have Alexa water Program A for example...so no manual watering of any program via Alexa unless all 16 zones or 1 at a time!  Asking Alexa to water means ALL zones which is not desirable for so many customers.  And my regular 6 zones that require watering at different times is painful by one zone at a time via Alexa.  Smart Watering has proved unreliable with my soil and plant type so not to be trusted and now unused by me. Why on earth can it not be updated to allow for a program to run via Alexa like all the other wifi controllers that are Alexa enabled?  Purchased this only for Alexa capabilities so horribly disappointed.  And why on earth can one not save a manual program WITHOUT a start time?  If it needs a start time it is not manual!  I know there is the Backup program for loosing wifi.  But at this stage it is hard to understand why something so basic in an Alexa Skill like running a program (for specific zones only) has not already been implemented.  Have emailed customer support regarding this several days ago and as yet no response.  Please advise of a way around this.  Help would be appreciated, kind regards

My Netro Sprite-12 is not connecting to the cloud

Hi there

also calling from Spain. Since today my Netro device is not connecting to the cloud. Re-assigning to WIFI via the APP is not working.

In my network + configurations nothing has changed.

Can you check maybe log file on your side?

Strangely my Netro hubs are working.

UPDATE: reconnecting with an Android app + device worked like a charme. BUT if I start watering manually the watering is not starting, status is showing "communicating" for ages also after restarting devices many times.

Calendar View

Netro Support Team,


Where do I find the calendar view?    Is it the schedule icon on the bottom of the home screen?


I simply want to view when my sprinklers will run in the future when using "smart watering", "level: advanced".


I find that trying to find answers to questions when I am limited to community postings is cumbersome.   A good detailed manual would be very beneficial.

Spark and Sensors

Hi all,

I use 1 Netro Spark with 2 Whisperer sensors.

All devices are added to the app and i can see in the app.


In the app I can open by dropdown on top the Spark OR the Sensors. When i open there the Spark and go to setup, then i can can see the entry sensor, but the i can not add the sensors i have. 


I want to connect the sensors to the spark and the spark should Start the watering in relation to the real condition measured from the sensors. 


But how to connect the Whisperer to the Zones?

Option to Manually Run a designated Program with Alexa control

Have just installed the NetroHome Spark 16 station unit. All working, connected to wifi and Alexa.  Have written a Program called "A" to water zones 2-8 for 6 minutes, however, I do not want it to water according to a set time on any given day but when I choose to manually run the program  via voice through Alexa.  I've disabled smart watering on all my zones.  I've saved the program but Alexa does not support "open NetroHome and run program A"...how would I manually word it to Alexa to water zones 2 to 8 manually?  Or, how to save a "manual" program that I can run at whim via the app but preferably through Alexa when I choose to run it (without start times etc)...the app clearly allows a manual run but I don't want to run all 16 zones for certain minutes...just zones 2-8 for the same amount of time when I choose without commanding Alexa for individual zones or configuring through the app every single time....I bought the unit for voice control with Alexa, I don't want to fiddle with phone app each time. Please advise how to save a manual program without a regular start time that I can easily use with Alexa (I can write a custom command Alexa routine to run it).  Thank you in advance and looking forward to figuring this out.

Hola buenas tardes, he intentado cambiar la red wifi pero siguiendo las instrucciones, la red Netro-xxx no aparece.

Ahora la luz no parpadea y está fija pero fuera de línea.

We had 4 inches of rain

Netro started watering my lawn this evening despite havng four (4") inches of rain all day today! I thought Netro has the mechanism andthe technology to detect rainfall and stops watering when there is heavy rain!?

App show’s pending message

The app always shows a “1” indicating that there is an unread message.  I have opened any and all messages and can’t get rid of it…am I missing something?

Date format

How do I change the date format from American? In Australia we use the following format: DD/MM/YYYY. Shouldn't the app be set to read the default setting of the phone?

Using Bootlace ferrules.

I'd like to use bootlace ferrules for all the wiring to the sprite as shown in your installation video (power connection). I'm using 0.5mm² x 7 core cable and 0.5mm² bootlaces and the unit won't grip them. I've tried other sizes with the same result. What size ferrule is required?

Manual Run, 1 zone is not stopping

Hi, I installed the Sprite Netro today. Did a manual test. 


All zones worked fine except one of the zones started running but is not stopping. App shows stopped but the water keep going. 


Any ideas? Is it the metro issue or sprinkler valves? I powered off the Netro but still the water keeps on going.

Need a big red button on the home page of the app that says stop all watering for today.

Once you have programs setup to do your watering, you hardly ever get into this app unless you need to stop watering, change the program, or test a zone with a broken/fixed head. My biggest complaint about this app is that when I need to stop watering for the day (for various reasons), I have to remember how to do that in the Netro app, and fumble through menu after menu to figure it out, because I do not use it every day. I just want to stop the dang watering for the day. There needs to be a button right on the first page that comes up to stop or suspend all watering schedules for the day. I told Moen if they put that in there app, I will switch in a heart beat. Giving you the opportunity to keep a customer and put into your app.
