Currently the app has a bug to prevent user add station ID from the app, it will be fixed soon in our next release. 

We have changed it to KNCWASHI55 for you from our server side.

Wrong scheduling?

Dear customer,


If you want to cancel a future run, you can go to the Schedule page, select the day and skip the user programs. For Smart schedules, it does not make a lot of sense to skip a certain run because that will only push the run later in the day as the system is trying to maintain the moisture level.


Netro's algorithm encourages longer water time and less water frequency, which will help growth of the roots. It will also break long water time to several small slots to prevent water runoff. If you think the smart schedules water too much , you can either change to different smart zone mode (ECO), or you can set up your own programs and set up your smart zone in basic level. manual runs not working

Hi John,

When you start manual watering,  did the app has long communicating time or loading errors?
If the system keeps in "communicating" not change to "watering", which is internet and app issue. 
If the system successfully change from communicating to watering, but still no water come out. We need to consider other issues, like wiring, valves.

Hi Juan,


The "E2" code indicates that you might have an open circuit. Could you please check if the valve is connected or broken? 

You might also want to check whether there are shorted zones or open zones. You just need to use a multimeter to measure the resistance between the common wire and each zone (remove the wires from the slots before testing the resistance). The normal reading would be 20-60 Ohms. If the reading is less than 10 Ohms then you might have a shorted circuit in the solenoid and if it is larger than 80 Ohms you might have an open circuit.

Limit irrigation duration of a specific zone, water run off issues

Hi Kyle, 


Currently Netro does not support a max duration irrigation setting. To reduce the smart watering time, you can change to Eco mode or customized mode through Settings->zones->specific zone number->smart zone-enabled->Mode. You can also set up the Smart Zone level from Advanced to Basic and create your own programs. In this way, smart zone schedule will not override your own programmed schedule.

How to manually turn on one zone for test

To manually turn on one zone, please find the manual run button in the home page, below the Netro logo, there is task bar "online", "battery percentage", "manual run", "rain delay". Please tap "manual run", tap the square button on the upper right corner to stop watering.

App help to program to not water if it rained

Dear customer, 


If you turn on the smart zone feature, Netro will skip the schedules(including manual schedules from user programs) when there is a chance of significant rain. You can customize the weather restrictions to adjust the rain threshold as currently the value is 0.4 inch which is high, you can adjust it to 0.2 inch. 


Netro gets weather forecast data from our weather provider, which could be not accurate enough, as weather forecasting is chanllenging. You can check the weather data on the home tab. If it is not correct, you can select other weather provider in settings->weather provider. You can also select the weather station ID with the Wunderground option. You can also adjust the rain data through Discover page->"+" button on the upper right corner-> Correct rainfall. 


The rain delay is to forbidden watering in the next n days after rain, where n is set to be 5 by default. After you set the rain delay, Netro will update the watering schedules automatically, which can be checked on the schedule page. You can also find the constraint added. 


If you go to the "rain delay" again, Netro assumes you want to add another "rain delay" constraint, instead of showing the last rain delays. 


To cancel reain delay, you can go to your schedule tab. The date with gray dot beneath is the date with restriction/weather skip. You can select the date, and tap on the specific restriction, it will pop up option for you to cancel. 


Please note that rain delay is just one-time setting. It's mainly used when it's raining but the weather forecast data is incorrect, so you can tell Netro that I don't want watering in the next n days. If the weather data is correct, Netro will not water while raining. You should set in settings->preferences -> rain -> days to skip, if you want to set it for all rainy days.

Zone won't shut off

Dear customer,


When that zone is watering and you cannot stop it with your Netro app, please unplug the power adapter of Netro controller, see if the zone is still watering.  If unplug the power adapter, the zone is still watering, this zone valve need to be checked. 

 

You can also switch this issue zone wire with other good zone wire. For example, assume the issue zone is zone 1, zone 2 is good zone. Switch zone 1 wire to zone 2, and zone 2 wire to zone 1. Test the two zones, see if the physical issue zone still faulty.
