No, currently, irrigation schedules in our app can only be configured in minutes, not seconds, except Stream.

For standard residential gardening and lawn care, scheduling by the minute provides the optimal balance for soil absorption and water conservation.

Dear Customer,

When you bind a specific Weather Underground PWS to Netro, the system requests data directly via the Wunderground API. However, discrepancies recording usually happen due to Backup Station Failover or API Data Aggregation.

How to investigate and fix this: Please send an email directly to our technical support at support@netrohome.com with your Netro account email and the controller's serial number.

Our backend developers can pull the exact weather data logs for your account. We will check whether Netro pulled a glitched data packet from Wunderground or if it temporarily fell back to a neighbor's station, and we can help stabilize your PWS feed.

You can easily update your Wi-Fi network without deleting your controller or losing your settings.

Note: Please ensure your phone is connected to the new 2.4 GHz network during this process, as Netro controllers do not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi.

Based on your description, it appears the internal battery has reached the end of its lifecycle and can no longer hold a charge.

Please note that our sensors generally carry a two-year warranty. As your units are now beyond this period, they may no longer be eligible for a free replacement.

However, you can still contact our support team at support@netrohome.com. Even for out-of-warranty devices, our technical team is happy to perform a final assessment and can provide you with the best available options.

Currently, the Whisperer has a built-in hardware alert: the LED will flash red to indicate that the battery is running low. You can also monitor the exact battery level under the Sensors tab in the app.

Hi there,

The symbol on the right is indeed the drag handle. To reorder your programs:

  1. Tap Edit in the top corner.

  2. Press and hold the handle icon (the horizontal lines) for about a second until it feels "selected."

  3. Drag it up or down to the desired position.

The key is the brief hold before moving; a quick swipe often won't register. If it still doesn't respond, please ensure your app is updated or email us at support@netrohome.com.

Feature Request / Setup Assistance: Apply Rain Skip to User Programs without Smart Scheduling

Hi Alessandro,

To answer your questions:

  1. Do not enable "Smart Zone" if you want to keep your manual durations.

  2. Simply use User Programs and ensure "Rain Skip" is toggled on in Settings > Preferences>Rain>Skip.

This way, the system follows your fixed schedule strictly but will still use weather data to skip cycles when it rains. You get "Weather-aware" watering without "AI-control."

Even 1km apart, units can pull data from different local weather stations. Please verify the locations and weather provider for both in Settings.

Dear customer. since your controller has a green light, it is successfully connected to the cloud. The issue where the switch flips back is likely a synchronization error or an expired login session.

Please try the following:

  1. Log out of the Netro app and log back in. This often refreshes the "token" and restores the connection between the app and the server.

  2. If that doesn't work, try reinstalling the app to clear any cached data.

Sorry for the trouble. This usually happens if the local weather data doesn't match reality or the rain didn't reach your Skip Threshold.

Please check:

  1. Address: Ensure your location is accurate in Settings.

  2. Rain Threshold: Go to Settings > preferences and check your "Rain Skip Threshold." If the rain was light, it might not have triggered the skip.

You can definitely manage multiple locations under one single account! There’s no need to set up separate accounts.

When you add a new device, simply go to the Settings tab, select Location, and enter State, city and house number. You will then be able to switch between your different homes or controllers easily within the same app interface.

Combine 2 zones

Dear customer, to ensure both zones always water on the same days, please make sure their Zone Settings (Plant Type, Soil, and Sunlight) are identical in the app. This allows the our AI to calculate the same watering requirements for both.

Alternatively, you can create a Custom Schedule to manually force both zones to run on your preferred days.

Any way for user to open and replace battery in Whisperer 2?

Hi there,

The Whisperer 2 features an integrated rechargeable battery designed to last for years. While the unit is sealed for waterproofing, the battery is not user-replaceable.

However, if your battery is low, you can manually recharge it via the USB port located under the grey rubber plug on the back. Once fully charged, the solar panel should help maintain the power.
