I have the Netro Whisperer2, and all works fine except for smart watering notifications.
They alert within the Netro app - how can I get them to alert outside of the app (i.e. "normal" smartphone alerts)?
It's great that I get the notification in the app, but that means that I have to constantly manually open the app to check for notifications - which essentially makes the notifications almost useless.
I've uninstalled and re-installed; I've disable the system setting to give the app access to send system notifications and then re-enabled it; and anything else I could think of that could be stopping the app being able to send a system notification.
Am I doing something wrong here, or does this intentionally only keep the notification internal to the app?

Sorry, I should have been clearer - it's not the start/stop watering notifications that I'm referring to..
I have only the whisperer 2 (no automatic watering), and it's the in-app notifications of "It's time to water your " that I'm asking about..

Could you please try the following steps and see if it works?
1.Ensure that Google Play services are correctly installed and configured on your mobile phone. Go to the "App Management" on your phone, check the status of Google Play services, and try to update them.
2.Some mobile phones or system versions may have restrictions on background services, especially in terms of battery optimization settings. Check the battery and app management settings of your device to ensure that the app is not restricted from running in the background.
3.Log out of your NETRO account, uninstall the app, restart your phone, then download the app again, and log in to your account after the download is complete.
