Why whisper sensor is lighting in red?

The sensor is programmed to stay in green in the night, but shows red light. No update if changing in setup. Battery at 98%.

Seems to be working fine.

Doesn't work with google assistant

Hello. I configured the google assistant according to their document https://netrohome.com/shop/user_guides/4. It asks to link and takes me to a screen that says "try me" and it works perfectly with the instructions. If I close the phone when I go back in, it no longer recognizes instructions and I have to go through the whole process again. That's not how it works. Any solution?

How to make it not water when it rains

My model is spark 16
My problem is how each station is configured so that it stops watering when it rains and at the same time respects the times and days that I have in the program that I create. I don't want it to do smart watering, I want it to water according to my schedule and automatically stop watering when it rains. It's possible?

Upgrading from old rain bird system

Hi - I am trying to determine if the 12 station Netro  spark would be easy for me to install.

I currently have a rather old rain bird system with 16 valves.


I think I understand the mapping of the com and individual values. But I am confused about the 24 vlt and my current rain sensor.

It seems like my 24vlt wires come from a pack/converter that is plugged into an outlet. Is this directly convertible - not sure how I take the orange wires and the devices they are connected to on the left of the picture to the new controller?


As well, would my current hunter rain sensor still work with the new controller, or do I need a different one?

1 or 2 frames

I always read that it was better to water early in the morning than in the evening. I see Netro gives the option of 2 frames daily though.  I turned on two frames and created a lengthy frame in the morning and evening for watering. Now when Netro schedules my watering it breaks it up between the two zones - even though the morning zone is long enough to hold the entire watering schedule for any partucular day - so presumably Netro thinks it's better to do half the watering in the morning and half in the evening.  My question is "What is the best practice with Netro watering, and why does it choose to water morning and evening rather than just morning? ". I was sort of expecting it would only use the second frame if the first frame wasn't long enough - but this is not the case.

Interval - three days

Update:  in my original post below, I thought the problem was using the interval function set to three days. Since I posted that, I have also noticed that another zone which used the weekly function set to Monday and Friday also was not operating for the last several weeks. The one thing these all have in common is that the time was set for 60 minutes. Could there be a bug where if you set the zone to water a full 60 minutes, it doesn’t work at all?


Original post: I’ve been mostly satisfied with Netro for a few years now, but this is the first season I tried using the interval of “every three days.“ I started the setting last month in a few areas, and my plants were doing poorly. It took me this long to realize that it just simply isn’t watering them at all. That’s right, my programs are set up for every three days, and when I look at the schedule to determine when the last watering cycle was, they just haven’t been watered at all since I switched to the interval of three days. For now I’ve gone back to my weekly settings where I chose Monday, Wednesday and Friday, but am I the only one who can’t use the interval function?  I have dead plants because of this.

Whisperer blank

Yersterday evening Whisperer was active but today display is totally blank (only grey segments). 

No light on the device.

Everything else OK including weekly averages. The few days before becoming blank was a bit surprised by the readings. According to weather conditions and watering was expecting a rise in humidity but it was on the contrary shown as decreasing.

Is there a way I can re-start it or should I buy a new one ?

Sync warning even when online

I get this warning when I try to add a manual run to the schedule, even when I just woke up the timer outside and even the app home page says it’s online  there is no way around the error, it blocks adding it

Overwatering

Watering too frequently and not capturing moisture level. We received >1 inch of rain yesterday and says ground is less than 2%.  Schedules 30 minutes of watering each day for most zones.  Says it sound only be watering every 3 days for 23 minutes.  Something is not working correctly.

Purchase in Canda for Spain use

Hi,


I did purchase Spark 8 in Canada but I will be using it in Spain. 

When I try to activete the unit, I cannot use my Spainish address for the location of the unit. The app is taking the location from my phone and when I put the Spanish address I get an error that I am located in Canada. When I turn off the location service of my phone I cannot move to the next step at all.


Any suggestions how I can solve this problem?

In the mobile application and in the web application I can check the history of the irrigation over a period of a year

I would like to know if you store data for more than a year and if it would be possible to export the data. For instance, last 3yr, 2yr

How to remove rain delay

I have added rain delay by mistake. Now I want to remove it but I do not see it settings >> restrictions but next watering schedule is after 10 days, Please suggest how to change it.

Not adhering to custom smart schedule

I set the smart schedule to go on at 50%. The app says if it goes below low, it will water till it gets to high


It’s set to a low of 50 and you can clearly see it let it get below low which it said it wouldn’t

Whisperer too weak

Just a comment on the wishperee. They are too weak and easy to break, the sensor part that goes into the ground 

My kids just broke a couple playing soccer in the garden. It would be good if you develop one that can be fully placed in the ground and the only visible part is the solar panel
