Pixie and Whisperer

How do I add the Whisperer sensor as a sensor with my existing Pixie? It let me add it as a new device but when I go into my Pixie, the option to pick a sensor is blank.

Hi Nick,


Please find the below steps to connect your sensor to the pixie timer:

1. in the app, switch to the Pixie timer
2. press the + button on the right upper corner
3. choose sensor
4. follow the steps. Do not choose the standalone mode but the first one "garden"

That worked… must have missed that. Now how do I delete that extra “zone?” I created for the standalone sensor from before?

Glad to hear it works now. For the standalone sensor, we have deleted it for you from our server side.

Sorted. I'd forgotten about the different process to add a sensor to a timer. From a UX perspective, this is suboptimal. It would be better to be able to add an existing sensor directly to a timer. Thanks for the guidance.
