Hi Riccardo,

Please go to Settings->Zones->Smart Zone and toggle the enable button. When the smart zone is disabled, the system will strictly follow the user program to water the zones. For more information about Netro smart watering,  here is an article about Netro three watering modes which might be helpful. https://netrohome.com/forum/posts/111

Topic: Netro App
Device sharing between Netro users is supported. A user can authorize multiple users to access his or her Netro products.

To give access to other users, please log in your Netro account, go to Settings->Controller->Manage Users.

Note: Shared users must have a Netro account.

Add or delete users

Device owner can add or delete users through adding or deleting their user name or email account.

Tap “Manage Users” to authorize other users to access the device owner’s Netro products.

Tap “Manage Users” and then you will be directed to the “Users” Page.

Then you can add new manager or new player by tapping the “+” button.

Tap the “+” button and input the user name or user account.

Please input the user name or user account.

Tap “save” and then the user can have access to owner’s shared device.

Users’ information is displayed on “Users” page.

Once users are added, shared users will be shown on “Users” page.

 Access rights of shared users

There are two different types of shared type: Manager and player. Manager and player have different access rights. Manager has more access rights than player. Both manager and player cannot delete controller, change address, delete or add sensor.

Note: Shared users must have a Netro acccount.

Manager’s access rights:

Manager can use all the features of the shared device except deleting controller, changing address, deleting or adding sensor.

Player’s access rights:

a. Read-only: All settings in Controller, Sensors, Program(except run a cycle), Zone list can not be edited.

b. Hide: Preferences, Regulations, Restrictions, zone detail are not shown on Settings page. Regulations events and Restrictions events created by users are not shown on Schedule page.

c. Access to Schedule page: Player can create a one-time Run or Rain Delay on Schedule page.

d. Access to Program:Player can only do “run a cycle now” to programs created by device owners. Player can create a one-time Run or Rain Delay on Schedule page.

Hi Sasha,

Did you try other command e.g. "OK Google, start watering"?  "OK Google, talk to Netro Home". Could your provide us more details. If you are using the Google Home APP, does it work if you click the start button? If you using voice command, any feedback or error messages?

Hi Jacques,

You can set moisture to skip watering at 100% through Settings - > sensors - > watering adjustment - > moisture to skip water. The humidity will never reach 100% so it will never skip your zones.

Hi Mike,

Currently Netro only allows one sensor to be assigned to one Pixie timer.  Multiple zones for one Pixie timer cannot be created.

Any way to adjust whatever the rain threshold is for when it waters?

Hi Sean,

You can customize the weather restrictions now through setting -> preferences -> rain. By default, Netro skip schedules today and tomorrow if today rains more than 0.2 inch. You can customize it, like I want to skip the schedules on the day after tomorrow as well, or I want to skip if rain more than 0.5 inch.

Dear Juan,

Spark-8 supports upto 8 zones (similar Spark-16 supports 16 zones). For each zone, you can customized the sprinkler type, soil type, plant type, etc.  For your case, you have 6 zones, with 3 or more sprinkler heads in each zone. So Spark-8 should be enough.

The whisperer sensor is optimal. It helps to get your soil moisture data more accurate than estimation. However, without the sensor, the Spark can work as well. It's recommended to place one sensor in each zone, however, you can share the data to upto 3 zones if these zones have similar settings (plant, soil, sprinkler, etc.).

Dear Ken,

These numbers are computed base on your configuration, e.g. mode, plant type, soil type, sprinkler type, and are  not open to public. Roughly speaking, the low/high are around 60%-90%, which is also a good starting point if you want to use customized mode. The flow rate is based on sprinkler type, a good estimation is :

mister: 2.0inch/hour

fixed spray head: 1.5inch/hour

bubbler: 1.0inch/hour

rotor head: 1.0inch/hour

rotary nozzle: 0.7inch/hour

rotary emiter: 0.5inch/hour

Thank you for your response. Does the slope setting affect how smart watering calculates the water strategy for the zone? If not I would think this would be a great idea considering my scenario. Steep slopes would require a different logic compared to flat slopes to prevent water runnoff.

Dear Richard,

The RED led light flashes means the device is completely out of battery now, which will need more time to charege it up.

Please keep the sensor under direct sunlight for another 3-5 days, and press the power button again. Please let us know if it works.

Thanks,
