Netro Sprite dead after 27 months (3 months post-warranty)

Has anyone had an issue with their Sprite being inoperable shortly after the warranty ended?  I tested the power prongs with a voltmeter and the controller is getting electricity, but no lights are on.   It's 105 deg in Austin and no rain in sight.  I'm going out of town for 5 days, so I'm in trouble.  I'm going to have to go to Home Depot to get something off the shelf installed today before my trip.


Anyone with the same problem?  Has anyone been successful with a claim outside of the warranty period?


Update:  The Sprite went offline at the same time the LED light stopped working.  The watering schedule resumed two days later and the LED was still off.  Meaning - Sprite works fine, LED doesn't work.  Netro told me to send the unit in over the winter and they will repair the LED.  Awesome - thanks Netro!

Does Netro whisperer underestimate moisture?

I added a whisperer to one of our zones. Recently the moisture content was between 25-30%. We are having a hot summer with many days with 110 degrees. I believed it and watered for good 15-20 minutes. It turned out despite all those water the soil moisture went up to 45-50%. I went and checked again, the soil looks pretty good and appeared moist. 

Just curious if the whisperer tends to underestimate moisture?

Hello.

I installed my netro yesterday and now after watering all zones it shows me that the next watering will be in 5 days. It seems to be to far away in the future since it's 35 degrees celsius and sunny all day

My system is not watering using smart schedule. keeps changing the watering days. even though not enough rain. unable to change the weather station on the app.

whem my Netro is disconnected from wifi , all stsyem is out of service !!  THIS IS A BIG BUG !

And we are off and running.   Whisper went in the ground and started reporting right away.  Would be nice to connect it to my Ambient weather station as well.

This is needed in the app. The scheduling is harder then it needs to be.

No issues for a long time (2 years). Ran already today, now will not manually turn on. Reset once and re installed unit once. Is there an outage?

Not enough watering time

I have anabled the smart watering for my netro.

I have 4 zones activated.

My question is why netro water big areas only for 1 or 2 min and the small areas for 5 mins. 

I have done all the settings(sun, shade, soil tile, grass tile, area in sqm). 


Please help.

Pixie: Shut off valve too weak?

i installed the Pixie last Monday, Tuesday it worked fine for the programmed 10 min sprinklers, but this morning it marked as finished but kept on watering. I tried the manual shut off and on and discovered i had to reduce the water pressure for it to work. At full pressure i hear the noise that the valve is trying to close, but it fails. The light goes to green and the water keeps running... 

For now i am adressing it by reducing the water flow, but is this normal? I just have regular city water, nothing special, no special pressure...?

What's a preferred setting for watering adjustment on the whisperer for just a grass lawn? (I currently have 20% add water 80% stop water) is that too low/high?

Good morning,

I ask you if in the next software update Netro the possibility of enabling and disabling the Master Valve for each zone, I explain, I have connected an Autoclave with a special 24 volt relay to the Master Valve output, there are areas where I have a system  micro-irrigation that does not need an autoclave.

Whisperer won’t connect to Wi-Fi

My Netro connected to my Wi-Fi but Whisperer will not. It just keeps blinking slowly, white LED. It also won’t connect to my Netro app that is running my watering system.

Battery status

Is there a way to see the battery status (devices that use batteries) in the app home screen? It would be of great use when one is leaving the home for a few days, to make sure the device will have enough charge for those days.

Hi, I have a Hozelock Micro Irrigation system with multiple Universal Drippers that supply 40 Litre per hour. I would welcome any advice on the best way to set up the app, for a Netro Pixie and this setup. Should Smart Zone be used on basic or auto with user fixed schedules.  Any advice welcomed from experienced Nitro users on the best way to use my new Netro device. Thanks.
