Plant Sensors Monitoring Multiple Zones

To the Netro community:


We recently have launched an update for the Netro app on App Store and Google Play. In the newest version of the app, we allow one sensor to monitor up to 3 zones but the user needs to make sure the zones have similar environmental conditions.


Please upgrade your app to the newest version and go to Settings->Sensors, select a sensor, go to Zones and select the zones you would like to monitor.

            

            

After saving the changes, you can go to the Home page and check the topsoil moisture level of your zones reported by sensor.


Please feel free to explore other new and exciting features that we just added : 

1.Support Apple Watch

(only available for iOS )


2.Support Weather Underground PWS

(Settings->Controller->Weather Provider)


3.Rainfall adjustment

(Please go to the Discover page and tap the "+" button on the upper right corner,  select "Correct Rainfall")

Runs for 9 hours at a time

I have smart watering enabled with a preference for watering times between 1 and 7.  The schedule shows the system is running from 1 - 10 am and then again starting at 6:00 pm - 9:36.  How do I get this adjusted? My water bill was the highest it has ever been!

Smart Watering advanced watering times

Hey I'm all setup and running with my sprite and things are great!


My issue is that the advanced smart waters is choosing times that are early in the morning when I shower and its reducing the water pressure for me and I'm sure the heads have less pressure coming out since I am using water too. 


Is there anyway without going to basic scheduling and making my own programs that I can edit the times in the morning it waters?

Sprite doesn't open valve

I'm doing a first installation with an 100-HV-FF 24V ACRain Bird valve.I connected the wires to the C and 1 connector to serve zone 1. I populated the zone in the app. Because I want to test the system before I disassemble my previous I did not install the valve between the pipes. I click the "play" triangle in app home screen but I get no reaction from the valve. The solenoid is completely closed. I am using the 24V AC/AC adapter bought on your website.

Does the valve need water flowing through to work properly?

When are you planning release firmware update for sprite having issue connecting to wifi after power issue? This happens quite a bit and my sprite is off line.

changing watering zone times?

I have one zone showing a watering time of 1 minute.  Is there a way to change this.  In the settings it says it waters every 2.65 days for 13.5 minutes.  It may take 30 seconds or more for the zone to come on.  Any ideas

Post install and after first unsuccessful run, it says it watered but it definitely did not, I found an extra wire that I had plugged into ‘C’ next to the ‘M’, that I had left unplugged in my last successful Netro setup. I have now unplugged it and did another unsuccessful run. My question is, when making a wiring tweak like that do I need to press the ‘RST’ before proceeding with a run?

sprite losing connection

 good install and was working but later lost connection... what firmware version should it have? how about a windows app ? sprite connects to tablet but claims no internet connection....   your sprite is extremely frustrating compared any other smart devices that does't ask to reset router if it loses connection looking for issues. if every device did this i would need a tech full time so i can have a life

I have two zones for the grass in my backyard and want to connect 1 whisper for both zones since its one small piece of grass.  How can I do this?

It's the last day of the month and the new version still hasn't dropped. You are already a month past your original commit date. Please stop marketing products that are add-ons, when the software is lagging substantially. The big companies are going to catch, kill and eat you unless you start running faster.

Low pressure in zones

Hello, I've noticed that 2 out of my 6 zones suffer from low to no water pressure. I tried removing the nozzles to test but the water kept barely coming out. I know the solinoids are working because the water is coming from the zones, but how can I understand why there is super low pressure?

What does that mean???

Device sharing between multiple users

Device sharing between Netro users is supported. A user can authorize multiple users to access his or her Netro products.

To give access to other users, please log in your Netro account, go to Settings->Controller->Manage Users.

Note: Shared users must have a Netro account.


Add or delete users

Device owner can add or delete users through adding or deleting their user name or email account.

Tap “Manage Users” to authorize other users to access the device owner’s Netro products.


Tap “Manage Users” and then you will be directed to the “Users” Page.

Then you can add new manager or new player by tapping the “+” button.



Tap the “+” button and input the user name or user account.

Please input the user name or user account.


Tap “save” and then the user can have access to owner’s shared device.

Users’ information is displayed on “Users” page.



Once users are added, shared users will be shown on “Users” page.


 Access rights of shared users


There are two different types of shared type: Manager and player. Manager and player have different access rights. Manager has more access rights than player. Both manager and player cannot delete controller, change address, delete or add sensor.

Note: Shared users must have a Netro acccount.

Manager’s access rights:

Manager can use all the features of the shared device except deleting controller, changing address, deleting or adding sensor.

Player’s access rights:

a. Read-only: All settings in Controller, Sensors, Program(except run a cycle), Zone list can not be edited.

b. Hide: Preferences, Regulations, Restrictions, zone detail are not shown on Settings page. Regulations events and Restrictions events created by users are not shown on Schedule page.

c. Access to Schedule page: Player can create a one-time Run or Rain Delay on Schedule page.

d. Access to Program:Player can only do “run a cycle now” to programs created by device owners. Player can create a one-time Run or Rain Delay on Schedule page.

30 minutes = 10 minutes X 3

How do I set my program to run each zone for 30 minutes each, but water 10 minutes 3 times each.  I thought this used to be an option, but I don’t see it.
