Power outage detection and more

Hello,
I’ve just bought my first Sprite and Whisperer and really eager to receive them and start them running in my garden.
In Italy, where I live, we often have this situation: during “off summer season” we live in town, but the garden is located in an holiday site, for instance at the seaside house (this is my case). It may happen that we experiment, sometimes, but unpredictably, a “power outage” accident. 
As far as I know, Netro has implemented a “cloud application”. Is it possible to be promptly advised that a “power outage” has just occurred? That would be quite useful, since if I’m promptly known of the issue, I can immediately take a properly action to recover the outage (with the help of a neighbour for instance). This may also be some kind helpful to support the diagnosis around the cause of the issue. I think that the “use case” might be the following: if Sprite is not set to “off mode” and have “no answer” to the check, send a message “possible power outage on Sprite id XXX”. Desirable channel of communication: email, whatsup, sms, … I’d really appreciate to know what you think about my proposition. I really deem it could be a very appreciated “complementary, but valuable service”.
Second question: is there any update on the list of the Meteo Forecasting Providers thar are supported by Netro? I’m interested particularly in Meteo.it and 3bmeteo.com

Whisperer won't blink white during setup

Prior to installing a whisperer to my system, I set it up outside in direct sunlight for 5 days. When I try to add it to my Sprite, the light only blinks red once. I've tried multiple times to press the power button 6 times and it's still just flashing red just once. What am I doing wrong?

Hi

My watering unit is programmed to water my lawn as necessary under the programs algorithm. However, I have numerous days when the watering is done twice— for exam0e it will run all the zones and immediately run the same zones again.  Anyone know how to fix that?

How the smart watering is scheduled?

Maybe I missed something....


Just installed the controller and app. With “Smart” options Enabled with all zones, some zones will repeat themselves up to 4 times in one day, a few days in a week, some zone seems never scheduled at all(?). Is this how I should  use it or I have to use a fixed program only? How the auto scheduling is calculated?

I'm new to netro and I tried to setup smart watering but the data I provided it will do it just once a week. 

How is it possible? Is it safe to water just once a week?

Plant Sensor

I turned my irrigation system on this year, and the controller is working great. However, the plant Sensor hasn't checked in since last year; so I went to reconnect it to my wifi. When I press the button 6 times, all I get is a flashing red light.

Change sensor zone?

I have a whisperer and a pixie configured in the same zone. My pixie is defective (the unit leaks water which wound up damaging the unit and battery and no longer works, replacement is in progress), so I want to delete it in preparation for my replacement. It says I need to remove the sensor first. Is there any way to just move the sensor (a Whisperer) to a different zone, or perhaps to just simply unlink the sensor from the Pixie, or do I actually have to delete the sensor from my account and then go through the process of re-adding it back to my wifi network and all that? The app makes it seem like I have to actually delete it then re-add it. Since my replacement unit won't be here for over a week I had desired to keep the sensor monitoring the soil in case I need to manually water it.

Constant Blinking

My device appears to be connected and working, but I noticed the light on the unit is blinking constantly.  Is it supposed to be doing that?

Weather Provider

Can you please explain to me the big difference of the next watering days using different weather providers? As you can see in my print screens the data of temperature and humidity are nearly the same. With one provider next watering cycle will be in 2 days and with another in 11 days.

Does Netro whisperer underestimate moisture?

I added a whisperer to one of our zones. Recently the moisture content was between 25-30%. We are having a hot summer with many days with 110 degrees. I believed it and watered for good 15-20 minutes. It turned out despite all those water the soil moisture went up to 45-50%. I went and checked again, the soil looks pretty good and appeared moist. 

Just curious if the whisperer tends to underestimate moisture?

No power to controller

Our controller has been working fine, and we had to replace some solenoids that were faulty. The controller is plugged into a verified live socket but no lights turn on. I can't hook up wifi, and it appears to be dead.

Confused....to sensor or not to sensor?

I'm only using a sprinkler system to water St. Augustine grass on a .2 acres in South Florida. The entire area is flat and has the same soil make-up (loam). Direct sunlight shines mostly all day on every area other than a small 10'x40' strip on the west side of the house that is shaded part of the day. I have no trees and no plants. I have a Sprite controller and 1 whisperer sensor which is connected to the 3 zones that get the most sunlight. The learned % is at 55%

I don't see any benefit in using the whisperer. Thoughts?

I installed my Whisperer and it seemed to work but after a couple of days when I checked the APP it just shows 0 at all three datafields. I see values in the overview (weeks, month etc.) though. What can I do to correct this?

Problem with controling relay

Hi, i try to control working water pump by M contact on controler using relay(24VAC) and that is not posible, I try with three different relays and same situation. 

Is anybody have same or similary problem and if anybody use M contact for controling relay please send tehnical data or picture of that releay that I can buy same... Suporrt not answering on this question I send them video of working two different relays but not got answer... 

I tru to upload video here but that is not posible...

Buongiorno, ho installato correttamente la centralina Netro.

Ora ho installato due sensori whisperer, li ho collegati alla centralina e vedo i dati correttamente ma non riesco a collegarli alle due zone che ho creato.

Leggono solo i dati ma restano indipendenti dalle zone irrigate.

Ho provato a resettarli e reinstallarli ma non mi viene mai chiesto in che zona abbinarli.

Nella home Page della centralina Netro, entrando nella cartella sensori non vengono visti.
