Sprinkler heads change directions

Just bought a home that has Netro however each time the sprinklers turn on they are pointing in different directions then we had them originally set. We end up watering cars and the street more than the lawn. Any suggestions?

Why such erratic scheduling when using smart watering?

Why does the Spark controller schedule watering zones so erratically?  I have 7 zones and if it decides that all 7 zones need to be watered on the same day, why wouldn’t it just water in order 1-7.  Instead it might water 1,2,4,7,3,5,6,7?.  Or it might water zone 1-2 on one day, 4,5,6,3 the next day, and then 7,7 the next day.  

Why does it want to water at least one or two zones per day for 4-5 days in a row instead 5-7 zones per day and turn on the system two days in a row?  

Seems like it would place uneccersary wear on valves and other system parts.

Manual runs not working and watering during rain

Hello, 


My Netro has been watering despite heavy rains. The home page shows the soil is 100% saturated. Also, when I try to manually run the system, none of the zones will come on. I’ve tried the reset button and I’ve tried unplugging the system but it still won’t work. 


Any ideas?

Connection issue

My phone will not connect to the Sprite, any suggestions?  It tells me to connect to Netro….., I select that in my WiFi options, but it does not connect.  
Comcast confirmed I have the correct WiFi service/equipment.

Change sensor zone?

I have a whisperer and a pixie configured in the same zone. My pixie is defective (the unit leaks water which wound up damaging the unit and battery and no longer works, replacement is in progress), so I want to delete it in preparation for my replacement. It says I need to remove the sensor first. Is there any way to just move the sensor (a Whisperer) to a different zone, or perhaps to just simply unlink the sensor from the Pixie, or do I actually have to delete the sensor from my account and then go through the process of re-adding it back to my wifi network and all that? The app makes it seem like I have to actually delete it then re-add it. Since my replacement unit won't be here for over a week I had desired to keep the sensor monitoring the soil in case I need to manually water it.

Spark not watering lawn

My spark is not watering my lawn when smart zones are active.  Weather forecast might show lots of rain coming in next couple of days, but then we don’t get any rain.  The controller will say next watering in 8-10 days.  Shouldn’t the system recognize that I didn’t get the rain, and readjust? I have even gone in on the rain forecast setting and raised the skip rain setting to over 1in.  Also on the calendar it doesn’t show a symbol indicating why it didn’t water on most days.

Can you tell me if the Netmo system can be linked to security systems that can then turn the water off automatically if a movement is detected so that they don’t get a soaking?

I’m thinking apple Home in particular.

I just put out some grub killer, and they want me to water it in. But when I have my system water all spots it only Waters about two or three minutes each  section.  How do I water for a certain amount of time for each section?

Pixie displays Soil Moisture reading without any sensor

Hi.  My Pixie shows a Soil Moisture reading that changes over time, but it doesn’t have a Whisperer connected to it.  It seems to influence the watering frequency.  When I look at the watering schedule, it’s supposed to water every nine days, but instead it’s watering every three days.  Is this normal?

Scheduled Runs not turning on but app shows they ran

My app is showing scheduled runs for morning and nights that I set up using a repeating program. At the time they are supposed to run they just saying loading the entire time. After they don’t run I can do a manual run through the app and it works fine. Any suggestions?

Looking to purchase a couple of whisperer sensors, and can’t really justify the $60 price.  Any discount codes/discount for multiples available?  Any money back guarantee if not satisfied with the whisperer?  

Also,  how many people are using advanced smart water feature that allow the controller totally decide when to water.  I have set it up but cringe at the runtimes and days running in the calendar, and keep reverting back to my schedule.  Seems like it would be using a lot more water.

Hi Netro, I have fruit trees in clays soils and I have the whisper sensor helping me monitor the water. I have two issues right now. One is the sensor does not seem to detach much change in the moisture content in the soil, even immediately after an hour of watering. The other issue is I am getting run off during each watering cycle but I cant figure out how to spread out the watering or reduce them without going to a manual setting. Can you help me? Thank you!
