I would check your common(ground) wires. If the system was installed properly the White wire is your common. It should be in the first position on the controller. Then check your valve box or boxes. The solenoid has two black wires on the solenoid. One wire should be connected to a colored wire and the other solenoid wire should be connected to your common wire(white). To clarify: one wire from all valves should be connected to the same white common wire. They others will be connected to the other colors but only one valve per color. Make sure all your wire connections are tight and have waterproof connections. Very important.
