How to leave a valve open all the time.

Is there a way to leave a sprinkler valve open all the time? I don't want to make a schedule. I have a valve connected to a motion activated sprinkler. I need that valve open all the time.

Do you have an echo device? If so, you could write a routine using the Alexa custom command option, set it to run for an hour, then insert a wait, and repeat...hope that makes sense
