Dear Mark,


Thanks for your suggestions and we will consider develop this feature. Netro allows users to restrict watering time and define rest time through Settings->Preferences->Scheduling. You can tap "Scheduling" to restrict your watering time and define rest time in "Preferences" page.

To the Netro community:


We recently have launched an update for the Netro app on App Store and Google Play. In the newest version of the app, we allow one sensor to monitor up to 3 zones but the user needs to make sure the zones have similar environmental conditions.


Please upgrade your app to the newest version and go to Settings->Sensors, select a sensor, go to Zones and select the zones you would like to monitor.

            

            

After saving the changes, you can go to the Home page and check the topsoil moisture level of your zones reported by sensor.


Please feel free to explore other new and exciting features that we just added : 

1.Support Apple Watch

(only available for iOS )


2.Support Weather Underground PWS

(Settings->Controller->Weather Provider)


3.Rainfall adjustment

(Please go to the Discover page and tap the "+" button on the upper right corner,  select "Correct Rainfall")

Sprite doesn't open valve

Hi Tony,

Could you please send us a picture of how you wire your new 24VAC valve to support@netrohome.com?

Do you have a multi-meter to test the voltage? To test if the controller is working properly,  please use a multimeter (AC voltage mode) to test the voltage between the common wire and the zone wire when the zone is active. Normally the voltage should be between 24V and 28V.

I am a little worried that connecting the Netro controller to a DC valve might cause a problem, although chance is small.

It would be great to be able to buy whisperer on Amazon. I can find the netro Sprite on Amazon Spain but not the whisperer. Buying it online from the netro store is not as convenient for users, because of delivery times and other factors

Unexpected smart schedule

Dear Tony, 


Netro's smart schedules are dynamic. All smart schedules in the future could be adjusted if new events happen, for example, weather forecast data updates, new whisperer sensor data. Therefore, it's possible that the smart schedules you saw today will be updated tomorrow. For your specific case, two of your smart schedules on 12th could be skipped due to high moisture level reported by your whisperer sensor. As you mentioned, by default if the moisture level reported by Whisperer sensor is above 80%,  smart schedules will be skipped. You can update the threshold to higher or lower value if you need.

Hi Tony,


Currently we do not upload the local IP address to the server and therefore there's no way to read the IP address from the app. However, you can look up the IP address by logging into the admin page of your WiFi router. 


We will consider uploading the IP address to server in the next firmware update.
