In you screenshot, your Pixie timer was "loading" not "charging" and it takes some time to connect to the server. We are sorry about the translation error. Does this issue still happen now?

Manually entering rainfall

To adjust or correct the rainfall data, you can go to the Discover page, tap the "+" button on the upper right corner and select "correct rainfall".

Thanks for contacting us. You can put Sprite in "paused" mode to shut your unit off for the winter. To put Sprite in "paused" mode, you can go to Settings->Controller->Enabled.

"Next in" shows "--"

How stop 1 day

Dear Leonardo,


If you want to stop only one day for your watering schedules, you can create a restriction (Settings->Restrictions) or set your device in paused mode. (Settings->Controller->Enabled)


If you want to stop watering for smart watering and create your own programs, please go to Settings->Zones->Smart Zone and toggle the enable button. When the smart zone is disabled, the system will strictly follow the user program to water the zones.

Hi Luis,


1. Netro uses forecast data, actual rainfall, zone specification(soil type, plant type, etc) and other factors to determine the moisture level.  If sensor is associated,  Netro model estimates moisture level of both deep soil and top soil. If sensor is not associated, Netro model estimates moisture level of deep soil.

 

2. We just checked your account and we found the irrigation data displays on Sunday now. Previously the irrigation data has not been updated.

 

3. We will update our plant database and add the plant "fir tree" in a few days. We will let you know when it is done. Currently you can select "redwood tree" as a workaround. If you have multiple type of plants in one zone. Usually, it's recommended to use the plant that needs most of waters. For example, if you have shrub, trees and flowers in one zone , it's better to use "flower". This is because tree can survive with more water, but your flower could die without enough water. One exception is Xeriscape, which could die with more than enough water.

Hi Carlos,


There is an electrical component (recoverable fuse) on the circuit board which limits the output current to 750mA. Please check the resistance of the valves and the pump or master valve which should be larger than 20 Ohms.

To measure the resistance of the zone valve, remove the common wire and the zone wire from the slots and set your multimeter to Ω mode.

To measure the resistance of the pump or the master valve, remove the common wire and the M wire from the slots and set your multimeter to Ω mode.

Hi Javier,


Please try the following steps:


  1. Power off the device(unplug the power adapter) 
  2. Wait for 2 seconds, replug the power back in
  3. Wait for 3 minutes for the device to start up 
  4. Press the reset button for less than 1 seconds to do a soft reset 
  5. Wait for 5 seconds. This should set the light to slow blinking. 
  6. Then you can go to the Netro app -> settings-> controller -> change wifi network/password.

Netro can manage multiple devices in one user’s account. If you already have a controller and want to add another controller, please go to the Home page, tap the “+” button to add your new controller. Tap the irrigation controller and then input all the required information to set up your controller. Please go to Section Add a product to see the instruction.

After successfully set up your controller, go back to the Home page and tap the drop down menu on top of the Home page to switch between your devices.

Dear customer, 


Pixie is connected to the cloud service through WiFi. Because distanced WiFi connection consumes much power, Pixie will go to sleep mode to save power after 5 minutes when it is manually powered on. It syncs to the server every 1 hour to save battery.

If you have to water instantly, you can go to Settings -> Timer-> "Keep Online" and enable the feature. Note the timer may start to keep online the next day and battery consumption will be faster when the timer is in this mode. In the regular mode the timer is sleeping you will need to wait a bit. Start time change

Dear Franco,


To change the start time, you can create restrictions(Settings->Restrictions). If you create a program or restriction, Netro will strictly follow the watering time and duration. You can also go to Settings->Preferences to set your preferred watering time. However, Netro will try to water during your preferred time. If Netro believes your watering is not enough, it will still water your zones regardless of you preferred watering time.

loose connection on install

Please keep push down the zone slot button, then you can easily insert the wire or loose the wire. If the metal part too short, you can peel off a little bit.
When you loose the zone slot button, the wire should be secure inside. Please let us know if it works. If not,  please send us email to support@netrohome.com with your Netro account registered email.

Hi Andrea,


Netro's algorithm is based on expert gardening knowledge, one of which is to avoid watering equally everyday and instead to water less frequently but deeply. We suggest you can allow the moisture level to deplete to a low level (recommended by EPA) before next watering. The estimated frequency  4/5 days will be fine for your plants. For perennial, we suugest water from 70%(low)~90%(high).

Netro IFTTT returns local time for convenience, where the time zone is determined by your device address. The API returns

1. date: local date

2. start_time: local start time, please use only the time part and ignore the date and time zone part if any. 

3. end_time: local end time, similar with above. 


We have checked the API, it seems OK. For example, you have a schedule on 2020/09/10, from 06:00am to 06:28am, the API returns:

Please note that "2020-09-10T06:28:00.000Z" is not UTC time, only use the "06:28:00" part, although system may add date and timezone part automatically.
