To the Netro community:


We are excited to introduce our new products, the Netro Zigbee Hub and the new smart timer Pixie-Z1. They combined deliver a different experience of smart watering system. 




The Netro Zigbee Hub hosts a long-range local Zigbee network that links all the end devices. It connects to your router (wireless or wired) to transfer data between the end devices and the Netro cloud service. The Hub will work with all our Zigbee products including the new timer Pixie-Z1(introduced below) and the new soil moisture sensor coming this year, as well as the new 4-Zone sprinkler controller and the new weather sensor coming next year.


The new host timer Pixie-Z1 is re-designed from the original Pixie timer in many ways:


1. Always online for instant quick runs. No more sleep mode

2. Powered by two AA alkaline batteries with approximately one year of battery life. Notifications on low battery

3. Supports Google Home and Google Assistant

Help! Pump Relay Question

Drat. I did a full factory reset and it’s still not working. No voltage being sent anywhere. The 24v AC input works (of course or it wouldn’t power on). Any ideas?

Hi Jean,


Please try leave the sensor under direct sunlight for several more days. 
If you have traditional incandescent bulb lamp, you can also put the sensor solar panel closely under the incandescent bulb for severl days. 

Please let us know if the sensor still not get charged after a week.

This is how the self learning feature works: Netro's self-learning feature will update the model based on your soil type and data, for example, weather data.  It may take two weeks to complete the learning progress.

Whisper connected to stand alone not showed

I answer my self. Founded the stand alone where the whisper was. It is in allocated in the main menu where I had “Denia”, it is like a new house

Thanks for contacting us. We have implemented the app notification when the device starts to water. Currently it is ready for beta testing. If you are interested in trying this feature, we will enable it internally for you. In the next app release there will be a public on/off control for this feature.

New phone - deleted schedules??

Hi Green,

We checked the smart zone feature is disabled for your zones. When the smart zone is disabled, the system will strictly follow the user program to water the zones. There is no intelligence here. Netro will not skip your schedules when there is rain.

Your program is only in effect during May~October so there are no programs recently. Please let us know if you see any further issues.

Delay on Manual watering

Dear customer,

By default, your Pixie turns on its WiFi module once every hour to sync up with the server. The sync-up usually takes less than one minute. For the next 59 minutes the timer will be sleeping and disconnected from the WiFi until the next sync. When the timer is sleeping, it is unaware of the schedule changes, including the manual watering.
