New lawn setting

I am putting down some new sod Thursday.  My last controller had a new lawn setting that ran for 15 minutes four or five times during the day.  Is there a way to set that up with this controller/program? I think I'm running a sprite, netro version 2.5.3

Hi Bruce,


Netro also has "new plant" mode and please go settings->zones->specific zone number->smart zone-enabled->Mode.  You can check if this mode meet your watering needs. You can also choose "customized" mode to adjust watering by providing the preferred moisture level and flow rate of your sprinklers. 


Also, you can create programs to make sure Netro water your zone for 15 minutes multiple times.

Okay, the only setting that was there was new plant, and that was set at point 65 a day. I would like it to water for 15 minutes about three times during the day. I saw a customized but I did not see away to customize it the way I'd like. Can you explain to me how I do that?

Hi Bruce,

The customized mode may not meet your watering needs. We suggest creating programs for your zone 1 to water for 15 mins four or five times.

That's all well and good. But I don't see a way to create a program like that. Please walk me through that

Hi Bruce,

If you want to create a program for zone 1 to water for 15 mins four times, you will have to create 4 programs.

For example, program 1: select zone 1 to water during 5:00~5:15.
Program 2: select zone 1 to water during 5:20~5:35.
Program 3: select zone 1 to water during 5:40~5:55.
Program 3: select zone 1 to water during 6:00~6:15.
