You may want to check the reliability of your wifi to the room your sprite is in.  I have mine in my garage and the wifi signal was pretty weak.  Had similar issue, would lose connection frequently.

I fixed  my issue by adding a wifi repeater in the garage.  After installing, I've had no problems.

Just for FYI, I have a mesh network (eero) so adding a wifi extender into the garage was very painless.  

The signal to the netro may not be very strong.  My netro is in my garage, like most folks, and had trouble having it stay connected to my network.  I added a repeater in my garage to boost the wifi signal into my garage and haven't had a problem.

I'm fortunate that i setup a mesh network so extending my network is easy.  I'm using eero for my mesh network
