Dear customer,

The Netro app sends low-battery notifications for Whisperer sensor—please check if the app’s notification permissions are enabled on your phone.
When Whisperer shuts down from low power, the 0% humidity is just a system estimate. After recharging it, you might try resetting the Self-Learning function in the app to get accurate humidity again.
Also, check if the Whisperer is in a sunny spot with no obstructions—poor light leads to slow charging.
Let me know if you need any help.

Thanks,

Netro Support

ok, notifications were Off, now set to On.
Anyway it is a reasonable to not set the humidity to 0% when Whisperer battery is too low to send measurements to Netro.
Instead the system should maintain the last reading until a new reading is received.
Pls propose this to the dev.team.

Dear Eric,

Actually, our system is designed to maintain the last valid reading by default. The reason the app displays 0% moisture is a reminder function—it alerts you that the sensor hasn’t been sending data to Netro, which helps you quickly identify if there’s a battery or connection issue with the sensor.
The system continues to use the last valid reading captured before the sensor disconnected. It also combines this data with the latest weather forecast updates to calculate watering schedules accurately.
We really appreciate your thoughtful suggestion, and we’ll still pass your feedback along to our development team for further evaluationPlease let us know if you have any other questions or suggestions!

Thanks,
Wency

Does not make sense at all. If whisperer is not reachable, the system should just ignore it, not assume it's 0% and trigger additional watering - that's what the complaint is legitimately about.
