Often offline, automatic reconnection?

Hi, my Netro goes offline every day/couple of days. Probably there is a disconnection of the Internet provider during the night.

Is there any possibility to program an automatic retry of wi-fy connection in the Netro?

I have historical irrigation on zone “n” and I can get schedule data from the API if the zone is turn ON, but if I put this zone in unavailable, the API does not get the historical schedule data for this zone. I have to manually put available the zone, download from API, and then turn off this zone for get the whole data.

I think is not the expected behavior.

Netro Sprinkler WIFI Smart Controller not retry the connection

Hi all!


I have a “Netro Sprinkler WIFI Smart Controller” and when  sometime i have a problem with internet connection provider and  after the connection return up the controller still disconnect until i power-off and power-on the controller.

The led on controller blinking and the app show a off-line message.

 

Why Netro doesn’t automaticaly retry the connection ?

All other ethernet and wifi device automaticaly reconnect  after the connection return up.  It’s possibile configure Netro Controller to retry the wifi connection ot it’s a contoller bugs ?

 

 

Netro App vesion: 3.1.0

Netro controller hw ver.: 1.2

Netro controller firmware ver:  1.1.1

Water valve opened

All the zone were off in the application but in the device the zone 5 opened the passage of current to the valve remaining opened

Watering during a restriction

Hi!

Tonight at 2.30 my netro start to watering. I had to stop it starting a manual program and stop it because in the app there was no watering sign.

Then I put a restriction for 3 days and around noon netro starts to watering again. There was a lost wifi signal for a minute cause by a voltage drop. 

Is it normal?

Cannot reset Sprite

Hi, I had a Sprite working OK but I needed to move it to another location and WIFI network. I assumed starting from scratch was the easiest method and deleted the controller on the App but now I cant get it back into host mode (<1sec press of reset button) or factory reset it (6-8 sec)....The LED flashes about once every 6 secs or so not every second, no matter what I do. 

So I never see the Netro_IRC wifi network ....

How do I fix this ?

Smart Watering is too much, Custom Program doesn't show up

We had enabled Smart Watering. It was watering each zone twice, for a very long time - totalling up to 2 hours nearly daily, unless it was raining. I know the standard comment from Netro CS is that it's better to water deeply and less frequently, but this was watering every day...2 hours a day. It's too much. I disabled smart watering, and created my own program, but it 1) doesn't show up in the calendar/schedule and 2) the home page says "Next run not scheduled". How do I enable my custom program to run? Is there some small enable/disable button somewhere I need to use? Do I need to clear everything and start from scratch? We'd love a nice green lawn, but can't water for 2 hours every day (on just a small front yard!). 


Also, it'd be nice if there was a way to talk to a technician. Thank you.

Netro Pixie full of water inside the box?

Hi

I have been using this Netro Pixie for one and half month. It is actually my second Pixie. The first one arrived broken as the valve was not opening properly for watering, I could hear a "hiisss" sound like air spraying.


The second pixie arrived and I have used it for one and half month, very reliable and I love the fact that it has the photovoltaic cell.


Yet, yesterday I uninstalled it as I do not need it anymore till next spring and... in spite of opening the valve and turning it upside down to empty it, I could still hear noice of water inside the device. I opened the battery compartment and... there was water inside... lots of water... actually as soon as I turned it upside down and shaken it, it went for a reboot.


How is it possible that there was water inside??? I have been using watering timers for fifteen years from brands like Gardenia and never ever had this issue. Isn't it supposed to be a sealed device?


I am sure it won't work next spring...


Anybody else has had this issue?

Sprinklers run repeatedly

I see that my sprinklers keep repeating the watering cycling through the zones. I have ser it for manual run. However, once started I cannot stop it from cycling. So I have keep the system disabled and enable only when the watering is to be done. I also have to keep watching to shut it down when the last zone is done.


I do not see any setting that could cause this behavior.

Zone won't shut off

I am having issues with my zones running when they aren't scheduled to and I can't shut them off. The runs are not showing in the app either. I unplugged Zone 1 from the controller (currently the zone that is running unscheduled) and it didn't shut it off. What do I do?

I got a $977 water bill this week. Unfortunately, the Netro web site only provides daily figures for one month. I wonder if it's possible to request 90 days' data to help me with this issue?

Android devices logout issue

Android devices logout issue

 

Recently some android devices (Samsung galaxy S20/21) has battery optimization feature which prevents the app running at back stage. So it will have logout issue.

 

If you smart phone do have this feature, please disable the battery optimization and deep sleep mode in the installation. Put unused apps to sleep.

Pump Problem

I have a 2.5 acre site half of which is controlled by an Orbit timer and now the other half (the field) is controlled with the new S-12 .

The water is pumped out of a seasonal pond and the pump is turned on whenever the zone(s) are turned on through a standard switch from the timers to the pump.

The problem is that I get a pump fault on the Orbit timer if the pump wire is left hooked up to the Netro timer. They are wired such that both 

timer"s pump connection is to a common wire to the switch. This was not a problem when I had two Orbit timers. What can be done? - run a separate wire to the switch? Do something in the software? Need to know soonest.

New Whisperer Issue
