Hi there none of the whisperers are sending data.

I do not see any data of moisture, sun light, temperature etc.

I have changed to a recurrence of 1 hour to send the data.

Should I stop irrigation during Winter? Or let the smart irrigation decide.

Hi

I have checked that the irrigation modes

DEEP

EPA

REGULAR

FREQUENT

Irrigate the same amount of water, the only difference is the frequency in days and time per irrigation.

The only mode that saves water is ECO

Or does a DEEP / EPA modes, will help me to save water compared to REGULAR or FREQUENT during a period of time ( I also have installed the whisperer) . Is the whisperer able to detect deep water?

I would like to stress the grass up to a point irrigation is needed, so swapping between DEEP and ECO to save water. But I cannot create a calendar where I could set up the watering mode per month for instance.

Any advice?

I irrigation zones attaches to the same sensor.

I do not understand why the smart schedule do not schedules the same amount of time, and dates for the 2 zones.

Hi there

I would like to learn more about the watering modes. Specially I would like to know the difference between EPA and Deep.

Make´s sense to use it in summer? specially in hot areas over 30ºC

Thanks

I have checked in the smart schedule that tomorrow is programmed to run zones that should be skipped.

I have set up the whisperer to skip run if moisture is above 40%. Current moisture is:

  • Zone 2 - 92%
  • Zone 5 - 70%

I have an issue/conflict  with the watering adjustments for the sensors and the Smart Zone Sheduling

I have seen something weird.

  • I Have set up the Watering Adjustment for sensors the following I describe o be sure about the problem
  • Moisture to Skip watering 50%
  • Moisture to Add watering 30%
  • Duration 5 minutes (only) -- it is a check
  • The Smart Zones are st up the following
  • Smart Zone - enabled
  • Mode - regular

The watering run today only 5 minutes, when the smart  schedule  defined by the system was above that. As you can see, tomorrow watering says different time runs per zone, but it will run a maximum of 5 minutes. This means that the sensor configuration overrides the Smart Zone. And it should not.

As far as I understand the Watering adjustemt is to add EXTRA watering when needed based on the moisture level. Attached picture

Prior to this setup I had the Duration for Watering Adjustment for 15  and 10 minutes, and you can see in the past days runs, that always run for 15 -10 minutes depending the zone/sensor. - Attached picture

In previous weeks, it was working fine and adding extra watering when need it to keep the moisture levels.

Any idea?

I DID THE CHANGES PROPOSED BY NETRO  and it is not working

Take a look the screen shots

Zones 3,4,5 it is below the 30% trigger

Sensor 2 says moisture level is 7% after very heavy rain, but the weekly view says 92%

When you select the year view you see only 12 months. Instead it would be useful to add 13, so I could compare year over year the same month.

Not only the last 12 months

This is my set up.

I have a netro device + whisperers

I have set up the netro to skip the previous day and the next day after raining.

I also have set up the schedule for watering from 6 am to 7 am.

If moisture is above 50%, then watering is skipped.

Yesterday it rained a lot and today all the zones were supposed to be skipped. But one of the zones went down to 45% of moisture and watering was started at 19:22.

1) why this happened?

2) Can I change the moisture level to a lower one? Current limit in the application is 50%

Whisperer and smartzone configuration

I have set up all the zones with the whisperers. And there is something I do not understand.

One of the zones usually get flooded in autumn because the type of soil retains lots of water.

But the whisperer and the smart zone is saying that the zone has to be watered more time than the other zones.

My question is if the whisperer adapts the irrigation schedules and the time is watering per zone. Depending on the moisture, weather conditions  and type os soil.  It is clear that the soil type determines how much and how often to water.

Here in the following link (https://www.netrohome.com/shop/products/whisperer)says that "Netro accurately measures the water capacity and drainage rate of your soil, making sure your soil always receives the perfect amount of water at the perfect time."

That is fine, but it is confusing that in the app I can still define the type of soil.

A second question I have is that I can define the watering strategy (Regular, ECO etc...) I want to know if the whisperer and the controller will notify me if I have to change the strategy based on the weather conditions and the type of soil, plants etc...

Any idea?
